Like sitting on a piece of paper,

I bought this cushion for use on my wheel chair to reduce the hard feeling so common with long periods of inactivity. The delivery time was great, the cushion looks good, but after sitting on it for about 10 minutes the cushion is worthless. It needs additional firmness for some support. It does puff back up after you get up, but for actual cushion confort you are better off getting any kind of cushion, even cotton balls.

Doc recommended a gel cushion. Tried that, not much relief. Ordered these for my hard chairs and have been very pleased. Bony butt is feeling better!

Works well enough, although I could have bought a covered foam cushion pad - basically a chair cushion - from Wal-Mart for $7-$9 that probably works just as well. That's what we used before for years.
My father's had a stroke and can't talk or communicate well but he seems to be satisfied with this product. He's 190 lbs and in his chair alot, so he'd find a way to tell me if he wasn't. The product retains its shape when not used and shrinks when sat on: it gets surprisingly thin. I've tried it myself and its comfortable but obviously everyone has their own comfort standard so I could easily see someone being disappointed their 3.5 inch cushion compresses to an inch. I'm glad I have the product but if asked I'd say try a WalMart cushion first.

As an R.N., I am very aware of how much harder it is to cure a pressure sore than to prevent one. This chair pad works with a wheelchair as well as regular chairs to provide a softer sitting base. The cover is removeable for washing. The price is very reasonable. I would recommend this product for anyone trying to prevent discomfort from sitting.

We have tried multiple pillows, for my post hip fracture 86 yr old mother in law, this is by far her favorite, now would like one about the size of a donut pillow or even a bar stool cover size, for use outside the home, as this one is somewhat bulky to carry.

I bought this for my 90-year-old mom to use with her transporter wheelchair. She said it was very comfortable. The best thing about this cushion is the removable cover you can wash. If you have a transporter wheelchair or any wheelchair that's 17-19" wide in the seat, this cushion will fit. It's a little big for 17", but it didn't seem to stick out much after my mom was sitting on it. I bought her a 17" wide seat wheelchair and was worried that the cushion might be awkward, but it was fine.
My mom also likes to use it at a back support on her sofa chair. So it's got a lot of uses to it. It's a great price on Amazon.

Service was great. Pad is so-so. Does not give much padding. Was expecting a much firmer pad.

I purchased one of these cushions for my father to use in his Jazzy powerchair. He liked it so much he was transferring it from the chair to the couch and to the car. I am getting him two more so he doesn't have to play musical cushions.

I weight 270 pounds and have a tailbone pain problem caused by spinal stenosis. I get considerable pain when sitting on a hard or thinly padded surface. This pad helps though it's mostly crushed by my weight as expected. However it does return to it's original density.
