Ok, so if you are looking for something thats going to raise the heat level of anything you are eating, this is it. I had used some Pure Cap (500,000 SHU) and I had to still add 10-20 drops into whatever I was eating to raise the food to the heat level where I am sweeting and nervously tapping my leg as I eat. With Mad Dog 357, I only needed one drop. I put one drop in my cup of noodles last night and I would not have added another.

If you are the kind of person who either cant really taste the heat anymore, or have to add so much hot sauce that your food tastes like hot sauce instead of the actual food, then this is for you. Instantly add copious amounts of heat to your food without augmenting the flavor, I recommend purchasing an eye dropper to dole this stuff out and make sure you wash your hands. My forehead was burning for an hour last night because I used my fingers to wipe the sweat from my brow (after I washed them mind you).

Anyway, get this is you are a pepper nut and like excess.

There is no reason to purchase this product. It is far too hot. I can handle a few drops of the 1 Million Scoville in whatever, but this is just too hot. One drop into 16 oz of chili and I was unable to tolerate it at all. I ate half of the cup of chili, pushing through the pain of a phantom hot coal on your tongue until I threw in the towel. I was defeated. I gave it away after its first use. I was not okay for half an hour, and that wasn't even the worst part of what ultimately becomes of eating anything.
If you want to say you have had the hottest, this is it. Have it once and you wont want anything to do with it ever again, I promise.

I use it as a close to weapons-grade mucosal searing gopher and deer deterrent for my garden.
Wear gloves before diluting in a spray bottle and applying. Especially, if you plan a "howdya do" with the missus later. Washing your hands alone just won't cut it.

Got this for my grandfather, a heat NUT and even he fears the Mad Dog. Not for the weak of heart or taste buds.

I have a rather exceptional tolerance for capsaicin but this product defeated me. Definitely the hottest product/substance which I've ever consumed. This literally makes habaneros seem like bell peppers. Will my idiot friends and I consume it straight in a proverbial dick measuring contest? Yes! Will we suffer in agony and literally experience stomach bleeding? Yes! Aside from such naughty escapades, I really will use this as a food additive. A mere 1.7 Oz may not sound like much but I anticipate this product lasting me a couple of years and I eat a lot of hot foods.

I really must echo the sentiments of the other posters with regards to the eye dropper. If Mad Dog had incorporated an eye dropped into the cap it would have really improved the functionality of the product. I almost rated the product 4 stars due to that short coming. Pouring it directly onto food is ridiculous. I'm very happy with the product overall. The eye dropper, or lack there of, is my only complaint.

This pepper extract (which can no longer be considered hot sauce cause of it's extreme heat) is rated at 5 million scoville units. S.U. is a way to measure the amount of heat in food. FYI your average Jalapeño Pepper has 2,500-8,000 s.u. A Habanero chili can have upwards of 350k s.u. A Bhut Jolokia (ghost chili) is the hottest known naturally occurring chili and that has around upwards of 1 million s.u. This stuff is roughly 5 times hotter than the hottest naturally occurring food in the world. It is not something for the average hot sauce lover. Even ppl who have a high tolerance for hot foods will find this extremely hot. This is the stuff you give to the friend who's ate Habanero chilis without breaking a sweat, or the guy you've given the hottest hot sauce you've ever had (until now)and he's brushed it off. Mind you this should be taken absolutely no more than 1 drop at a time. I upgraded from The Bomb Final Answer (1.5 million scolville) and there have been ppl I've given that to than can take 4-5 drops, this is worlds hotter than that. This will put anyone on their knees guaranteed. I do put a huge caution though, do not use this as a joke. Do not give to anyone who cannot handle out of this world heat. I have been eating extreme pepper extract grade hot sauce for about 5 years now and I cannot stand more than a drop of this. This is not something you put in a buddies salsa for laughs, or give to an unsuspecting/ignorant/child/grandparent candidate for a funny youtube video. You'll likely be making a trip to the local hospital if that happens. Mad Dog 357 is powerful stuff, and should be treated with respect.

I can tolerate extremely hot and spicy food after many years of Thai Aunties giving me their best--and hottest--dishes and my insatiable taste for extremely spicy Southeast Asian and Mexican foods. I shook this sauce all over an incredible fish taco and I have never screamed so loud in my life after one bite. The hair raising heat was followed by the most intense headache and my body felt like it burst into flames. Peroxide couldn't dull the tongue pain either. Maybe use as a food additive but certainly cannot be used as a condiment no matter how badass you are.
