I have had no problem with this adapter. Works, still using, with no complications or complaints.

Returned the Magellan so, returned the charger
Never buy a Magellan anything. When I had problems with the equipment the support group was a culture (maybe two cultures) away. Uninformed, unhelpfull, scripted to the point of being incompetent. Hope they saved lots of money sending support to people that were clueless 'cause they aint getting any more money from me.
