horrible product & waste of money,

just stick down the adhesive and slide the plastic part over it! your problems are solved! WRONG! i followed the directions 100% and within one day, water had gotten under the guard and loosened the adhesive. super strong adhesive only works if water doesn't get near it, and this product does not prevent water from getting next the adhesive tape. i had to caulk around the entire bottom of the guard to ensure it wouldn't come unstuck again and the product still doesn't work. save your money and don't buy this!

Looks cheap, lousy performance,

I suggest you find a better splash guard than this one. Must cost about $.03 to manufacture and works about as well. Slide a piece of pvc onto a runner you tape onto the tub and surround. Water leaks behind the tape, so it is essentially useless.

Bad reviews justified,

An important advantage of shopping on Amazon is the selection. I didn't think to check here before buying this item at the home center. It would have saved the waste of money on a bad product, which was the only one of its type offered by the national home improvement chain.I agree with everything Erin of Iowa said. It's a horrible product. I got it to work by applying caulk on the lower edge and to the bracket that is supposed to hold the wedge in place. The edge that faces the wall doesn't make contact with the wall because the wall/tub do not intersect at a perfect 90-degree angle. As someone noted, that isn't exactly a fault of the product, but consumers need to be aware that a lot of bathrooms apparently don't offer the perfect fit needed to make this product a success. My shower curtain hangs from a moveable rod. I tried moving the rod in a couple of inches, so the curtain hangs straight down into the tub. This confines splashes more thoroughly. The curtain tends to impinge on your space if you're a big guy like me, but that's better than having the splashes destroy the wallboard. I may end up tearing out this product and using one of the others shown here. Lesson learned: Check Amazon first!

Looked for a shower guard for kids. Doesn't fit any of our showers. Has a square corner. All ours have curves where there is grout and corian.
