I have a set of these mounting brackets bolted to my garage workbench and can always count on finding my Maglite flashlight just where I left it - safe and secure. The plastic seems a bit fragile, but in the two years that I have used them, I have never had a failure. The flashlight securely snaps into place and is not in danger of falling out.

If I were to do it again, I'd buy a set of these in a minute. It functions well and does the job for which it was intended.

I have used these before, but the price here was great. Mag has figured just the right tension on the clips to hold the flashlight secure, yet make it easy to grab often. I have used these for several years. I have tried others, but these are the best.

The price at Amazon makes it a no-brainer purchase to go along with your Maglite. I've installed three of these around the house. After six months of active use, I have not observed any signs of cracking or yielding in the plastic.

A few reviewers have mentioned that they have managed to break a few of these, and this might be caused by improper installation. It is imperative that, when using two clips for a flashlight, that they are perfectly aligned. If they are out of line by even a few millimeters they will require much more force to place and remove the flashlight. Alternatively, using just one clip for at least the 3 cell lights seems to work just fine as well.

Overall, I am satisfied with this product and consider it to be a good value at the advertised price.

This is a great addition to the Maglight flashlight, you can mount it in your car & always have your flashlight handy. The overall construction quality is good but will break if not used with some degree of care. I have had (1) clip break out of 4 pairs in three years. I highly recommend these mounting clips for convenience & just wish they were made a little bit more heavy duty.

Both my wife and my electrician managed to break a pair of these. Unless you are really careful when setting the light in place, they give away. It's the cheapest of plastics and does not take a beating.

Brackets work perfectly and do their job well. They hold my d cell maglite tightly and seem to be very well constructed. Great product for a low price.

I used these clips to make a license plate mount that attaches to my winch's roller fair lead. These clips fit perfectly and make it easy to pop the license plate on and off. Only downside I would say is that they are plastic! Otherwise they are a great product over all!

Holds my maglite very securely in my Jeep, takes a bit of strength to get it out but I'd rather have it tight than loose. So far haven't experienced any problems and I've had it holding for a couple of months now.

Some reviewers disparage these clips because they are plastic. I had to look closely at them to make sure they were plastic since they feel very sturdy to me. I attached them to the frame of my futon in a couple of minutes and now feel better knowing that I have a light handy without even having to get out of bed. I plan to get another set, or two, to mount a light near the garage door and maybe even in my SUV.

These brackets hold my flashlight in place in my Jeep next to the drivers seat. Even on rough trails the light has never come loose. In addition to my Maglite, they hold my large survival knife and seat belt cutter (the loops for a belt go over the clamps before the flashlight goes in) and I've had no issues for over a year. I bought a second set to mount another 3D Maglite in my camper. I have the flashlight mounted upright so if I need light in the middle of the night, but don't want to use the 12 volt, I just push the button and light the whole trailer, flashlight in place. The price had about doubled by the time I bought the second set, but at less than $5.00 they are a bargain.
