All are good quality. We have the brackets in the hallway to the basement and another set in the garage so we're ready when the power goes off (often). They are well made and really hold the flashlight in snugly, even in the vertical position which worked well for our locations. As for the colored lenses. I like to look at bugs at night and my husband has a telescope so these lenses have come in handy when we're outside at night and don't want to have to keep adjusting our eyes. Great value and great product!

The mounting brackets and anti-roll device are incredibly useful and work very well. As for the additional lenses, probably not for everyone, but the brackets and anti-roll device make it well worth the extremely reasonable price.

Shop smart; with the free shipping on orders over $25, this kit is basically $9 delivered. If you're ordering a new Mag, do yourself a favor and spend this nine bucks.

To be perfectly honest, I would've paid $9 for either the anti roll head or the mounting hardware alone.
The lenses? Keep the spare clear lens (another very useful little bonus!) someplace safe for when yours gets scratched up and needs replacing, then just throw the red and blue "gimmick" lenses in the junk drawer, or the trash.

As with Maglite products in general, you do get more than you pay for with this kit. Great value.

The bezel and mounting clips are useful. If you have D cell Mag-lites on a boat or vehicle that moves, this keeps your flashlight from rolling around. The mounting clips are made well and hold the flashlight in place. The plastic red clear and blue covers are not the greatest though. The red is not very red, the blue is not very blue and the white is not able to diffuse light much at all. Better to get a blue or red LED light if you need colored light and just use the clear filter already on the light. The clear one seems to have no purpose as it doesn't diffuse light enough. Better to just get the mounting clips yourself. The rubber bezel is good for keeping the light from rolling around, but will discolor and dirt will stick to it.

This is a great accessory set--maybe it should be featured more prominently. I searched this out because I use the MagLites on a boat and the round case means sooner-or-later it's going to roll over the side. The anti-roll piece (hex-shaped) fits snugly over the front section. The kit also includes two clips to mount and hold the flashlight and a couple of colored lenses for various purposes.

This set is good as long as you use all of the accessories. I don't have a use for the colored lenses but I do use the Mounting Clips. I also fine the Anti-rolling rubber hood a nice bonus which I thought would end up at the bottom of my Junk drawer for the next ten years. Now I find I use it quite a bit. The clips are plastic and can snap if you are not careful. Spring steel coated in rubber would make for a much better and long lasting clip. But then I guess you wouldn't have to keep buying new ones. I actually mounted my Mag Lite to the lower console in my Chevy Truck on the driver side for easy/quick access. For me that is the perfect spot. My buddy mounted his to the inside of his Truck Toolbox. Depending on the heat and how you drive I suppose you could even mount it in your engine compartment for emergencies. Bottom line it's a good set and maybe I'll find a use for the pretty colored lenses at my next party.

Mag should sell the rubber anti-roll device with all their flashlights. It's so nice to set the flashlight down and not have it roll all around. The flashlight holder is a nice bonus. The colored lenses I haven't used yet. Kind of pricey add-on just to get the anti-roll device, but who wants a flashlight that rolls all over the place.

saweet my mag lite is no longer bouncing around my truck it's mounted firmly to my drivers seat. The rubber cap with clear lens is nice protection, I don't use the red or blue lenses.

I got the 3d cell maglite with LED as a gift and the anti-roll attachment perfects the military look. I tried all the lenses, and the blue one has the highest energy and cuts through fog really well. I mounted the flashlight brackets on the rear roof column in my truck, but the plastic trim will not stand up to the abuse so I still need to drill into the frame. When mounting, make sure you have a solid base. I knew what i was getting and was a great buy; no complaints so far.

This is pretty much a must-have accessory if you have a D-Cell MagLite that you keep (or want to) in your vehicle and want to know that it's not going to be rolling around making a racket and hitting stuff and getting damaged. The filter kit was a cool added benefit since I only needed the brackets and never really thought about having filters for the light, and I'm just waiting for a reason to throw on the red one (low-light conditions) sometime, and a reason to use the blue one (fog)...though I'm skeptical that I'll ever have a "real" use for them...fortunately for me I'm good at making up reasons to use cool toys like this! Definitely a good buy for the $7 or so that it cost.
