These little triple A flashlites are really good. They have pocket clips and are water proof. You can hold them in your mouth and battery life is good. Another plus, batteries are available everywhere. LED might be better but not for the same money.

I am a long time Mag-Lite user; I find the quality of the manufacturing to be very good; I have never had to replace a Mag-lite I have purchased. This one was purchased as a gift for someone going abroad.

This flashlight is a great companion to medical professionals. Will not fail you when you need it most. Sleek, doesn't ruin your outfit even when placed on a front chest pocket, or moreso a lab coat. It surely will keep a long lasting service to its owner unless somebody borrows it and never return this very nice flashlight! This is the nth time I bought this triple-A battery mini-maglite and its always worth it - for myself and as perfect gift to your good colleagues!

Great small size flashlight. Made from aircraft aluminum.

Pros:
-Well constructed in every detail.
-Water resistant
-Available in many attractive colors.
-Shockproof. Full sized Maglites were known to be used as a baton by LAPD.
-Nice light output. You can adjust the spread of the beam by twisting the head, which is also serves as the on and off switch.
-Being a popular brand, some accessories are available to attach it to your hat, belt, etc..
-It even includes a spare lamp inside the tail cap (under the spring).

Cons:
-Uses 3 "AAA" battery which is kinda odd.
-Maglites are somewhat overrated in my opinion.

As this is a fairly small maglite, it will scratch.
Unless you like your mags to look worn and beaten up,
get this color as it is pretty much unfinished and won't show scratches.
I have purchased the black and the blue maglites of the same exact formfactor.
Of course you're looking at maglite already, so I dont need to comment on the durability of these products
