It's a Mag-Lite. I won't go into the details of the flashlight as I think most people know about this brand of flashlights. I got it for my 3-year old daughter who's favorite color is purple. That's the cool part... it's purple! As with most mini mag-lites, there's an extra bulb in the base.

Great small size flashlight. Made from aircraft aluminum. This is what I have in my glove compartment.

Pros:

-Well constructed in every detail.
-Water resistant
-Available in many attractive colors.
-Shockproof. Full sized Maglites were known to be used as a baton by LAPD.
-Nice light output. You can adjust the spread of the beam by twisting the head, which is also serves as the on and off switch.
-Being a popular brand, some accessories are available to attach it to your hat, belt, etc..
-Includes a spare lamp inside the tail cap (just under the spring).

Cons:
- Maglites are somewhat overrated in my opinion.

we collect flashlights, so this little purple one had to join the group at this price.

Good purchase. It arrived exactly as stated and works perfectly. I would certainly buy from this vendor again. No cancerns at all.

Be aware, very aware... this is small... very small. Just be sure you know what you are ordering and the dimension that you want. I ordered this for my g/f and what showed up is smaller than I was expecting. Five stars for the product as it is built very well, looks great and the lighting is fantastic. Two stars to me for not checking dimensions... lol...

I buy everything in purple so when I saw this AAA maglite I had to have it. I did not realize that it would become the first flashlight I grab when I need to look for something in a dark place. Made well just like it's AA and D sized big brothers this tiny flashlight puts out a lot of light. Fits in your pocket or in your mouth when you need both hands. Very durable and useful tool. And to think I originally purchased it just because it was purple.

It's a maglite. What else needs to be said? Still a top quality product. Even though it's the smallest one I've ever owned, it still puts out a huge amount of light. Still with the extra light bulb in the battery cap. Still made in the USA. Sweet!!

love this thing. its little, its light, and it takes 2 AAA batteries. it fits perfectly in your mouth so that you have a 3rd hand. its one of my favorite flashlights, i want more.

For years, I have carried a small Maglite in my purse. It has been so handy many, many times -- getting me back to my room at a rural scrapbooking retreat center in the middle of nowhere when the outdoor lighting wasn't very good, giving my husband enough light to get to the front desk the night the power went out at a hotel where we were staying ... and it always makes a good emergency toy to occupy a kid (just make sure, of course, that the light stays pointed at the floor, and not into anyone's eyes!).

What's more, we live in an area where we need to have a hurricane kit, and I make sure our kit is stocked with water, canned food (and manual can opener!), batteries, plus a few Maglites! They are entirely worth the investment, because they WORK. I can't tell you the number of times a storm has knocked out the power, and we go to the kit to get a flashlight, only to have to wade through all the cheapo flashlights to find one that works. The Maglites WORK -- I threw out the cheapos several years ago (finally) and went on a Maglite-buying frenzy. I got four or five of the 4-D-cell battery black Maglites, and now we have peace of mind during hurricane season. (The flashlights are so heavy and durable they can also be used as weapons in the inevitable zombie apocalypse.)

I had been admiring the color of this Maglite for a couple of years, and one day (before I caved and bought Amazon Prime) I needed to bump up an order to qualify for the $25 free shipping, so I bought this. I love it. Easy to find in my purse, and ... well, it's PRETTY. :-)
