Recessed, pushbutton, self-cleaning, 3-position switch. Rugged, machined aluminum construction with knurled design. Anodized inside and out for improved corrosion resistance. Self-cleaning rotary switch, 3 position, On, Off, and Signal. Spare lamp safely secured in the tailcap. High-strength aluminum alloy cases. O-ring sealed for water resistance. This great flashlight is probably the apex of the utility flashlight. As soon as you get it out of the box, you know that this is the last one you'll ever have to buy - I enjoy that feeling when buying a tool. The second eureka moment comes after you get all 4 D-cell batteries in and you figure out that its heft is about that of a baseball bat should you happen to live in an area with a high crime rate.

recently had a racoon come in the house a couple times and eat my cat food, so i was looking to buy something to smack it with if i heard my cat screaming at it in the middle of the night. first i was looking at a 31" collapsible baton, but decided i wanted a basic club with a built-in flashlight (nifty feature, that)

pros: can take a beating like nothing else i own. great for hitting things, removing ice from the side of my freezer, and bludgeoning just about anything. Oh the built-in light works great too, very adjustable to light up a whole room or just blind the heck out of an animal or person before you bash their brains in.

cons: not made of some kind of completely indestructible material (it PRACTICALLY is, just not LITERALLY). besides that, it's absolutely perfect, batteries last for-bloody-ever and even the lamp part does, plus it has a spare lamp bulb under the spring in the bottom!

overall - completely worth it, whether you need a club with integrated flash light, or flash light with integrated club (they're all features)

Love it. Bright light and focusable from wide range to narrow beam. Can see bears in forest 50 yards away. Long and heavy [due to the 4 batteries] - can use as weapon if necessary.
More useful than those big million candlelight [really] heavy lights... and lasts longer.
Comes with spare bulb.
