I bought this TV for our summer home in Canada. It was hooked up and worked fine for about an hour at our Florida home. A year and a half later we took it to Canada where it worked for about 30 minutes and then stops, blank screen, nothing. I called magnavox and they spent more time trying to sell me things than listening to what had happened, at one point the guy even started to laugh. We did some research on the internet about this TV and Magnavox and were horrified to learn that this TV has a long history of these problems! How about a product recall!!! Many, many people have been robbed by magnavox and the government is doing nothing to protect us. We took the TV to a local repairman, who is an authorized magnavox dealer,and he said the circiut board was shot. He called Maganavox and they said there were no replacement parts and they no longer make this TV. Save yourself and your money and do not buy magnavox or phillips{one of there partners}products. Also check out the complaints against companies on the internet, don't just read product reviews by customers on Amazon. PA Hunter

I unfortunately join the others with reviews in announcing that today my screen went black, only audio remains. Bogus that Magnavox / Phillips doesn't stand behind this product given the same recurring problem with this model. I sure won't buy another product from them. Suggest you stand clear of them and SPREAD THE WORD!

same as the other customer; screen went black and the tv cannot be repaired. I am looking to buy a replacement after just 2 years. What a waste!!!

Thankfully I have not had any of the issues that another reviewer had with their unit. The 15" Magnavox HDTV is a little small, but the screen is sharp and clear with good color rendition and an excellent viewing angle. The speakers do a respectable job but don't expect to be wowed. There are plenty of connections on the back for all sorts of inputs (no HDMI though). This is a good 720p HDTV for a kitchen, small room or RV, and does a fair job as a computer monitor as well. It is currently being used by my son with his home-built computer, and while only 1280x720, it is enough for him and interfaces with his system without any problems.
