The Philips 230W5VS is a 23-inch TFT Active Matrix LCD monitor with a wide WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and dual analog D-Sub and digital DVI-I inputs. It has a 0.258mm pixel pitch 500:1 contrast ratio 250 nits brightness 16ms response time support for 16.7 million colors and extra-wide 176 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. It has scanning frequencies of 30-94kHz horizontal and 56-85Hz vertical.For a superior multimedia experience the 230W5VS offers a solid-state 6-in-1 card reader for easy media access and multiple connections. It has a hi-speed USB 2.0 hub to connect to any USB devices as well as the ability to display from multiple video sources such as YPbPr S-Video and CVBS. Two built-in speakers provide output power up to 3W RMS (48 PMPO) each. This monitor has picture-in-picture so that you can watch a second source simultaneously. It also has progressive scan capability.You can adjust the tilt (-5 to 20 degrees) and swivel (+/- 175 degrees) to maximize the ideal viewing angle. The 230W5VS offers an embedded power supply Kensington lock support VESA wall mount capability and plug-and play compatibility.
