The silky texture of these eye shadows means that a little goes a loooooong way. They also tend to last longer on the lid than most eyeshadows do. The colors are vibrant, fun and intense. They are also buildable.

These are some of the best eyeshadows in the industry as far as the pigment density, how easy and smooth they go on, and the great way they look and STAY on. Velvety texture and true color.

These are always a must-buy for me and I keep them in my makeup case regularly. I've also bought them as gifts for many of my girlfriends who now can't get enough of them!

I love mufe (make up for ever) eyeshadows, the pan is very large and the majority of the shadows have a very silky texture to them. Unlike MAC, who has a variety of textures (mostly terrible), mufe has only a few different textures, the diamond shadows and their regular shadows. The diamond shadows are very glittery and shimmer colors, they apply very smooth and when packed on the glitter does translate to the eye. The regular shadows can either come in matte colors (often the bright ones) and colors with very light shimmer in them. The bright colors are very intense and are so pigmented, they do stain the lids (no 92 and no 75 especially). I've got over 30 colors and there are only two which the finish is not good, and I find difficult to work with. I believe for women of color, these are some of the best eyeshadows to work with, they appear very well on our lids/skin, even the lighter shades. Overall, they are really worth the price, you'll have them for a while.

I am a fan of makeup forever they have brilliant colors that make your eyes pop. This color is a true deep purple that is matte. To make the color more rich I apply a base underneath. It lasts all day.

When I first saw this color it was on YouTube. I love it!!!! very pretty reddish brown.

The makeup forever eyeshadow is by far the best eyeshadow I have ever used. If you have problems w/ eyeshadow disappearing after a few hours or can never seem to find true shades, then this is the last eyeshadow you will ever have to use. Its highly pigmented ,will last for a long time , and the colors are true. I have for colors so far and plan on getting at least 5 more . I have eggshell,black diamond dust,a neutral beige, and a true brown. Ladies , These eye shadows come in glitter,matte,shimmers,loose, and bright vibrant colors too , if you like those kind of colors.
I can not rave enough about how they stay put and they do not irritate my eyes. I am a make-up junkie so I do know what I am talking about.I ma 45 and I use mainly the mattes but I did venture out and bought the Black ( which is part of the diamond dust eye shadows collection) I use it in the creases and as a liner. Next, I am going to try a smoky eye but 1st I have to buy a white . If you are hesitant because you cannot actually see the colors , Go to a Sephora if you can and look at the colors. That's what I did and it helped on my selection. Or go to Sephora's homepage. They display the colors differently and give you a description of what the color looks like.
