Definitive, wonderful authority on great artist,

This review is from: Margaret Kilgallen: In the Sweet Bye and Bye (Hardcover)
This book is a retrospective on a late artist. From just what you see in this book you get the sense that she should have lived longer and produced more great work. Great essays and lots of examples of her work. Inspirational: shows that with a sharp, analytical eye, one can make so much out of seemingly nothing (here, street signs, ads). Kilgallen is one of those transnational, transcultural artists who are impossible to pin down to a time and place. P.S.-I bought mine at Giant Robot.com for much less than the going price. Also, don't forget to also see the Giant Robot magazine issue with the cover story on her.
