Today's shoes are all marked with a variety of sizes - US, UK, FR, JP, CHN... so when we ordered a pair, we thought we had done our research well enough to get the right size. Well, much to our surprise, the shoes are HUGE for the feet they were purchased for! What's up with that? Now I must go through the hassel of returning and trying to determine the right size! Overall, the shoe is fine and exactly what my daughter is wanting, but the actual size is all wrong.MAS Feiyue Wushu Kung Fu Shoes-WHITE

The order came in just fine but there was something strange. Usually I would buy a size 43 and it would fit me perfectly. When the order arrived, the shoes looked a little bigger than usual. Inside it showed that it was 43 so i thought it was probably just me. I bought 3 pairs of 43 and they were all the same size but they were all bigger than usual. I compared them to my old shoes and they seemed 1/2 size bigger. I'm not sure what happened. Even after I tied the shoelace, there's still some space between. Amazon did an alright job delivering it which is why i gave this a 4/5 but the company who made the product seem to have written out the wrong size for this batch.

My sensei was incredulous that someone was selling this item as karate shoes. The soles are designed for maximum traction, but karate (and most, if not all, other martial arts) require pivoting on the ball of the foot and/or the heel. These soles do NOT permit this. I wish I'd found that out before wasting my money buying them.

These shoes are flexy, light, and a steal at $15. They are very thin and breathable while staying super sturdy.
