This a very detailed and neat toy. My 8-yr.-old loves it. It completely folds up for travel, makes noise and has little detailed accessories. Nicely made.

I thought my son would play with this for 5 minutes. He was hooked for hours on Christmas and I'm sure for many more times to come. For such a small little set, it has a ton of stuff in it. Trap doors. Spinning bookcase. Flyout walls. Ramps. And the characters (skeleton, vampire, ghost, and spider) are all fun as well. Great toy. Looks like the construction will hold up. And now for under $20, it's a steal.

My six-year-old son really likes this. He likes anything spooky, and as his dad says, this is like a "dollhouse" for boys. It has five removable monsters that can be placed around the house or played with alone. The house has a lot of fun features like a trap door, revolving door, and spooky sounds. It does fold up neatly, too. I also like that the house doesn't have buttons that do "stuff" that would take the place of the imagination. Our son really has to create the fun out of his own mind.

My son got this for Christmas. It was very simple for him to play with, he put all the small parts on himself and has enjoyed it since. I got a deal on it through amazon, I don't think it would be worth the $40.00 they were asking at the store for it. I wasn't sure how long it would last since he so rough on his toys, but it seems to be holding up well. I will definately be adding more Mattel models to our collection.

This is a Christmas gift, so it hasn't been taken out of the box yet, but it looks like it will be so much fun. The sound effects are great and it looks durable. My little boy loves anything spooky and this house looks and sounds spooky. It's cool that a car comes with it and we will try different ones to put with it. In the past, my son's Matchbox toys have been well made and have lasted a long time.

This looked so fun - my child loves ghosts and whatnot, and LOVES cars too. However, this is the only Matchbox car set that I have not been impressed with. It is flimsy and does not work right. It should have been smaller and better designed. It is too big to support the cars on the ramps, it breaks, it is not sturdy even on a table. The only thing my kid likes about it is the car it came with and the accessories (see-through ghost, knight with moving/chopping axe, etc) and he plays with those a lot. Dont buy it! Other matchbox sets are durable and well made, trust me, but this one is not.

My son received this for his 3rd birthday and plays with it a lot. After 1 year of use and abuse the haunted house is still standing and used alot even after my younger son sat on it. The toy and its attachments are made to be flexible to withstand a boys usage. Some of the ramps have bend marks from folding it incorrectly but they did not break and are still usable. Lots of spooky activities and entrances to explore.

Kids just love these portable sets, and this one is especially cool! My son loves it, and plays it with it much more than his other car playsets.

This was the most popular toy to be played with on Christmas morning. This will for sure get lots of play time. Girls and Boys both love it. The girls just take their mini play dolls and go through the haunted house.

Fairly sturdy but somewhat difficult to put back together (requires adult help to close it up). Children lost interest in it fairly quickly, but have gone back to play with it again several times.
