Maxell makes a great battery; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. I always get several hours more use out of these "Gold" Maxell AAA batteries; and that's grand!

Of course, these "Gold" AAA batteries can be used in anything that requires them--portable radios, CD players and more.

In addition, use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be roughly five years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!

Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could indeed explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.

Overall, these Maxell "Gold" AAA size batteries are simply excellent if you need AAA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AAA size batteries.

These Maxell AAA's are the longest lasting that I have ever owned. I use them in an am-fm radio and they almost never die.

These batteries are excellent for the price,you cant go wrong for what your paying for them.ive used these batteries before and they last a long time.

the product was received and looked just as described and in excellent shape. I was amazed at how fast they were received.

I used one of the four AAA Maxell batteries in a small electric trimmer. I could tell the right away the battery was not powerful. After only using it for a few minutes, the trimmer sounded like it was about to die. I don't know if the batteries are of low quality or were just old, I threw away the packaging but my guess is both.

Ever since I discovered the MAXELL 723841 AAA Battery 4-pk my life has vastly improved! I remember my first order - aah the joy of not needing to order them individually was only the beginning.

Imagine my astonishment when year after year, the batteries continued to perform! I bought these little gems on Amazon in 1974 and they are still going strong! They are magic! Since I started using these batteries, my hair began to grow back...plus, my I.Q. went up 30 points, I found love, even my dog seems to like me more! These things are great!

I just bought another set for my neighbor the crack dealer/stenographer. Seems he needed them for his portable digital stenograph.

I liked this battery and bought it with Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Super Quick Charger with LCD Indicator and 4 AA Batteries Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Super Quick Charger with LCD Indicator and 4 AA Batteries.

I used for my mps player and its cool still not drain off after using it for 10 days or more.

I have used it ocassionally.
I have given it 4 star because i feel maxell batterys are good.
