I know most people will use this for their MiniDV cameras, but I used it to clean my professional MiniDV deck, and it worked perfectly. I've got a Panasonic deck and this tape-cleaner did the job right away, as promised. Amazon seems to be the cheapest place to get it.

Does what it states. For older camcorders head cleaners are a must and this fits the bill. I use it on my Canon Optura 20 model. Also use Maxell tapes from Sams.

The product worked as described and fixed the issues we were having with our Canon Elura camcorder having numerous lines missing during playback and skipping. Ran this though and it was as good as new.
