I put these in a honda accord, they are 40watts rms not 30 like they are listed. Mine are on 4 channel amp and the sound quality is great. I have listen to alot of high dollar audio speakers and this is a great bang for the buck. If you want the best sound you can out of these match them with a nice amp of similar out put power.

Cant beat these speakers for the price I paid, like $45 bucks a pair! Sound great in my crew cab sierra. If looking for quality brand at basement price. Here it is.........

I have an xB and the stock stereo is OK. I didn't go for the upgrade. I put Polk 6.5 coax in the back and these MB Quarts in the front. I got both pairs of speakers for less than most component systems. As for the guy who complained about the German engineering, yes it says that, & yes they are made in China! Big woop! These are way better than the tissue paper speakers that come stock. As for audiophile quality, come on I put them in an xB! The sound improvement is great! I haven't had the MBs in for a long time yet, but so far I am very happy. One note they did not come with any adapter rings, so you may have to get some after market ones to be able to install them. That's why I only got them now, after the Polks.

When I bought these speakers, I was hoping for it to be an long term investment. But within 3 months, one of the speakers has short circuited and now makes a popping noise. It is really irritating and now I am doing under warranty repairs for my speaker.

i ordered this fsa216, and was sent the fsb216. it has an inline crossover and rated at 150w max.....this is a cheeper entry level speaker, not a good one like 216a....

These components r by far tje best ive owned.better than my infiniti's, kickers.only components that even compare are boston acoustics, but wen it comes to speakers, u cant beat bostons. For the price, best speakers ive ever owned.

Great sound, great company, great price for a set of components of this quality. The only two complaints I have... I wish they were a bit more shallow and I wish the basket was stronger. Other than that, no faults at all and I am very happy with the purchase!

These can be tough to install as they're a deep speaker at just over 2 1/2 inches. I have them in a 96 Accord and in order to just barely clear the window I had to make 7/16" thick spacers and as a result they also just barely clear the door trim. The midrange has a warm, clean sound to it, but they start to break up if crossed below 60Hz. I cross them at 80Hz and they play loud and clean with no problems. The tweeters are pretty bright but not too harsh and mounting them off axis smooths them out quite a bit. Overall, I would say if you're looking for clean sound for a daily driver you can't go wrong. No, they won't play the lows all that well, but that's not what they're meant to do and combined with a sub they sound very, very nice.

MB Quart has always been a reputable brand throughout its lifetime. Back in the early 90's, yes, it was actually manufactured in Germany and did have superior sound quality as it might not have now. But all in all it is a name brand that now has other popular name brands flooding its market. So obviously its quality has to be maintained or else it would fall behind.

I bought these to replace the stock components on my truck and my goodness do these things blare rich highs and concentrated mids. I wired these to a 4channel 1000w that goes down to 125w x4 and it has only made them sound better. They are quite durable even under heavy beating.

I would recommend this over anything you're second guessing while comparing these. You won't be disappointed and certainly not for the price.

Mb quarts always really makes good speakers. I have these amped and they really hit the hights. They dont really have too much bass but i assume thats why the are hooled to a crossover to eliminate alot of bass.
