This is a great sneaker that lives up to it's word. However, you must absolutly buy a larger size because these shoes run SMALL! One half size larger will work for you. I had to return my original order in exchange for a larger size, and that was a bit of a hassel.

I got them the other day, and they are so comfortable. After reading the reviews my mother and I went to a store to determine our sizes, I am half a size larger. HOWEVER my mom has a wide foot and had to go a full size larger. I suggest going to a store (if you can find one nearby) that sells them and getting sized then ordering online if it is cheaper or if the store does not have the color/shoe style you want in stock.
WARNING: the store clerk told us to be careful walking up and down stairs in these shoe as it can feel akward at first. He was right, and you need to be careful on escaltors and getting in and out of the car in them. While it has only been a full day wearing them I already noticed a difference (for the better) in my posture.
I really like these shoes, and would recommend them to anyone who asked.

I've had my MBT's for a week now. They are super comfortable and were not that hard to get used to. The first day I got them I walked around my neighborhood for about 30 minutes. I could definitely tell that different muscles were engaging as I started to walk. That night my legs were a little sore, but not bad at all. Since then I have had zero soreness. I definitely feel like I walk taller and straighter. I am 5'3" and always try to get shoes with a little height. These shoes give me about 2" of height which I usually don't get from tennis shoes. So that is definitely a plus if you are short. Shoe size can be an issue if you have wide feet. My feet are kind of narrow. I ordered a size 8. I usually wear a 7-7.5, but the 8's fit great. Overall I feel like I made a good purchase.

I purchased these shoes as I am on my feet all day and 2 nights a week. I have very strong and muscular legs and my feet and legs always ache. While I love the cushiony feeling at the midsole, I do not find the toe area or material of the shoe to be comfortable at all. The toe area is tooo confining and the shoe is hot!!! The shoes are very cumbersome to walk it, and they are heavy also. I don't get the feeling that the front of my foot is doing anything when I walk. Walking quickly is VERY difficult as my toes do not seem to be able to push off as they do in a regular shoe. Forget about being quick on your feet. I can't say that I wouldn't have rather bought 2 new pairs of ASIC's running shoes instead. I have almost abandoned these. Definitely NOT worth the money, my legs still hurt, they are awkward to walk in, and they are hot! The thought of wearing them seems like I'm dooming my day.

I love these shoes and here's why:
I work long hours as a nurse-making rounds between 7 buildings. I began having sharp pain to my right hip that radiated down into my knee. My doctor thought it was inflammation to my lower back...probably from all the walking on hard surfaces and he recommended I change shoes. So I did. After much research I found these. I have never experienced anything quite like these shoes. The first time I wore them I knew that I had found my cure! After a 15 hour day at the hospital, my feet felt great and the hip pain was almost gone. By day 2 in these shoes, all the pain was gone.
Please note: I did not have to buy a size bigger. I do have fairly narrow feet and these shoes were an exact fit. These shoes seem to sit lower on my heel then I'm used to but it really wasn't a problem.

I receive so many compliments on these shoes. Perfect stranger come up to me and want to know all about them.

These shoes are simply amazing and a great investment!

I received my shoes yesterday and wore them for about 6 hours. When I went to bed last night it felt different and I realized that was because I no longer had back pain after wearing for only 1 day! I got a great night of sleep and proudly wearing my new shoes today. I will be ordering another pair for my husband. Make sure you do order at least a 1/2 size bigger because they do run small. I normally wear a 6 1/2 and ordered the 7 after reading other reviews. They are snug at first, but are very comfortable. After reviewing the MBT and Sketchers I decided to go with the MBT brand and I am glad I did. I hope you find as much comfort in your new shoes as I do with mine.

Update: I just wanted to update this post. I have had my shoes for over a year and a half. The tread is still in amazing shape, the shoe is holding up wonderfully. This is the only sneaker pair I own so the purchase was really worth it.

Another Update. Anyone that really is questioning purchasing due to the price should really consider it. I have had these for over 2 years and aside from the white color being a little faded due to me wearing all the time the tread is still there and they are just as comfortable as the day I got them. I have to say this is one purchase I will never regret purchasing not only for the comfort, but for the medical help with my back pain. I can really tell on days when I do not wear them how beneficial they really are.

I tried this style and size of MBT shoes on in a shoe store before ordering this product. The shoes I received are not the same shoe!!!! Thinking that they just needed to be broken in a little I wore them outside for a walk which was a mistake as I got huge blisters on both my heels and now cannot return them. If you want MBTs purchase from a reputable vendor, as these do not feel like authentic MBTs.

The only problem I have with these shoes are the blisters on my heels. To give my heels a break, I wore my old sneakers last time I walked (3-4 miles) and my hips were fatigued and hurt probably due to the increased impact on the feet. The MBTs are much easier on the entire body, except for my heels. I have tried tightening, loosening, thicker socks, bandaids, cant figure out what will work for me.

This is the second pair of this style of shoe. They help out a lot with my bad back, so I am completely sold. The only negative I have about this new pair is that the cloth on the inside of the heel doesn't go as far up the shoe as the older pair, hence the seam rubs on the sides of the heel making them sore until they are completely broke in.

I bought my first pair of MBTs because a friend turned me on to them. (She bought them because MBT is her husband's monogram). I'm on my second pair and absolutely love them. My knee pain is gone, my posture is better, my calves and thighs are getting more and more toned. They are worth the extra $$$. I bought one whole size larger than my regular shoes and have a perfect fit.
