I've had my MBTs for over a week now. I bought them at the strong suggestion of my podiatrist. My feet were in constant excruciating pain. Since I got them, while I wear them, I feel no pain whatsoever! Today I wore some Clarks with some prescription orthotics, by the end of the day my feet were killing me. I put on my MBTs as soon as I got home, my feet are already feeling much better. My posture is also much better when I wear the MBTs. The only downside is the price but well worth it given the difference they made for me. One of my employees bought some a few years ago for her planer fasciitis which hurt so bad she had to crawl about at times. According to her, the MBTs cured the pain completely.

Great Product, took three days of use to get used to, like walking barefoot but protected. Great on uneven ground. I walk everyday on non paved surfaces, when i used conventional walking shoes there was pain in my feet and back, when i changed to the MBT's all pain and discomfort subsided to zero discomfort. The MBT's smoothed out the uneven surfaces and prevented me from tripping. I bought 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size and very glad i did. Well worth the price because of better posture and the lack of pain.

Best shoes I have ever had. I work in Iraq and wear 60lbs worth of gear and these shoes have saved me! No more knee or back problems. Worth every penny!!!

I read up a lot on these shoes before I shelled out for them. Don't normally buy shoes online as I am always concerned about the fit, but that really worked out. I was convinced that these shoes would help my lower back problem and they do. Sure, they are different, but look ok and easy to get used to walking in very quickly - no problem.I wore them for hours the day I got them and could feel the work out.
Like them a lot. Why only 4 stars? Guess it is my Scottish heritage. You would probably give them a 5!

MBT shoes are great for nurses. I had to wear them for about a week to get used to them, but once you've adjusted, they really work great! I love wearing them specially during work and during long walks at theme parks. Great shoes!

My guy is on his feet 14 hrs a day, 5 1/2 days a week. He bought his first pair of all leather MBT's a year ago and they have saved his back, hips and feet. I thought he might need a lighter, not-so-leather pair for summer. They fit him right out of the box and we are very happy.

I have two pair of MBT's myself and the wanna-be's (Sketchers) are just that, wanna-be's.

Great shoe at a great price. I had an ankle tendon injury that had not healed in 18 months. i could not walk 1/4 mile without pain and swelling. I now walk 5 to 8 miles at a time with these shoes. I don't know if all the claims about extra calorie burn, better muscle tone etc. are valid, but I do know that the shoes make for a mechanically better way of walking. Also, I have flat feet and cannot stand for long long periods of time in other shoes. I can stand all day in these shoes without tiring. I'm hooked and will buy many more MBTs.

Buyers beware. There are many non-Amazon web sites on the net offering MBT shoes at 60 to 70% off list. Many are located in Shanghai. I ordered one pair from them and had very serious problems with fit and in trying to return the product. They made claims on their web-site of free returns if you were not satisfied. When I tried to return the shoes, they would not honor their return policy. If you buy these shoes on the internet from a source other than Amazon, you may think you will save a buck but it may cost you in the end.

I bought a pair at a local store. I'm not utterly convinced about the marketing hype around the shoes (may or may not be true) BUT with regards to foot, knee and back discomfort the shoes are remarkable. I have had Achilles tendon pain at the insertion in my right foot for nearly a year and after 4 days of wearing my first pair of MBTs the pain had nearly disappeared and it continues to improve yet. My knees have been bad for decades and I have mild low back pain. All have improved, though no one should expect a shoe to make a silk purse out of a sow's ears. I liked the first pair so much I bought 3 more.

though it has been quite some time since i bot this product and the fact that i am reviewing it only now, gives me the opportunity to properly review this shoe, since i have used it for quite some time now...
i stay in dubai where the climate for most part of the year is very hot. these mbt's have never let me down - in terms of performance and comfort. these are my first 'rocking' shoe pair and in spite of that i never had any problems adapting to the new style of walking when wearing these mbt's. the sole is super soft and really gives a feeling as if walking on sand. i use it regularly to the gym and also some times when i go out. absolute comfort. never tells on my body even if i have worn it the whole day and walked and strained myself the whole day - in fact it helps ease.
the only issue i find with these mbt's is from the aesthetic point of view - that it looks quite bulky / chunky and hence looks a little out of place when worn with certain clothes. no issues otherwise.

If you have knee problems this shoe may help when you hike in the morning.
