5.0 out of 5 stars Break in your shoes! Gently!
I had to respond to the person who wrote a 2 star review because the shoes gave her blisters. Um, break in your shoes gently. This goes for any shoe.

I own these MBT's and I own two other pairs of MBTs. They are fantastic shoes, but they do need some gentle breaking in. They are made differently than other shoes and they will take a little getting used to...

2.0 out of 5 stars no padding on heel strap
These shoes look well made and I like the curved sole, but you'd think a shoe that costs over $200 would have a padded heel strap. I was so exciting when they arrived in the mail that I immediately went out for a 30 minute walk. They rubbed the skin off my heel and made blisters! Couldn't return them because I walked outside with them. Too bad. Unless you have tough...

5.0 out of 5 stars Break in your shoes! Gently!, May 23, 2009
I had to respond to the person who wrote a 2 star review because the shoes gave her blisters. Um, break in your shoes gently. This goes for any shoe.

I own these MBT's and I own two other pairs of MBTs. They are fantastic shoes, but they do need some gentle breaking in. They are made differently than other shoes and they will take a little getting used to. You'll need to wear them inside for a few days, here and there, to get used to the motion and get your muscles used to the shoes. They work your leg muscles differently than normal, so take it slow. Your feet won't sit the same way in these shoes as your other shoes. If you wear them every day, you'll be broken in within a week and won't have to worry about it any more.

So buy the MBTs if you like what they stand for, and break them in slowly. Soon you might not ever buy another brand of shoe. I now wear only my MBT's, my running shoes, and one pair of crocs around the house when I'm not going barefoot.

MBTs are great shoes and they will last you many years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pain Free after 3 Years!, March 1, 2010

I have suffered with Plantar Fasciitis for more than 3 years. I have spent well over $1,000 on shoes, therapy, insoles, etc with no relief.
Then I bought my MBT's! In ONE DAY my foot felt better!!!! I wear my MBT's or my Dansko. Try them.

4.0 out of 5 stars MBT Habari Sandals, November 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: MBT Women's Habari Shoe (Apparel)
I had recently purchase a MBT Mary Janes they fit perfectly and are quite comfortable to wear. So I decided to get the a pair of sandals from MBT as well. If you have a wide foot I would advise against getting these sandals. Such was my issue they are little tight on the side but other than that no issues and I love the look.

I have both the MBT and the Shape Ups. I love both of them. The MBT requires more balance than the Shape Ups so if you have trouble with that I don't recommend them. But for me they are wonderful. My arthritis in my back and hips is under control with these types of shoes. Thank goodness for Amazon selling them at a lesser cost than the shoe stores where I live or I would not have been able to purchase them. Thank you Amazon!

These are wonderfully comfortable from day one, no breaking in required and they look good and versatile, can be dressed down and up. Will be buying more MBT shoes!

4.0 out of 5 stars cute, but tight for plus size me, July 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are cute, but very tight across the top of my foot. I don't plan to return them because they were less than eighty dollars on sale. I have another pair of MBTs in size 41 that fit, however, these size 41s were too tight. Length of shoe fine. The straps are not adjustable. I am hoping they will stretch because they are leather. And I am losing weight. I won't say they won't fit you, but if you are plus size, you might need to go to the store and try them on before ordering from Amazon, which has the best price.

2.0 out of 5 stars Expensive Disappointment, July 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had my eyes on MBTs for almost a year before I took the plunge and made this purchase. What a disappointment! The back strap on the sandals rubbed against my skin along my inner ankle after wearing them to the mall. (I actually had to use a bandaid on that spot for a week until the scab healed.) The base of the shoe itself is stiff with very little flexibility and also the base of the shoe feels heavy. My feet were actually fatigued and sore after only wearing them for a few hours. I am a woman in EXCELLENT physical shape...I workout 5 times per week using weights and intense cardio sessions...so I can safely say that my feet did not hurt from the mechanism of the shoe...they hurt because they are cumbersome and uncomfortable. I felt like I had weights strapped to the bottom of my feet. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these sandals!, July 4, 2011

I originally bought a black pair of these when I was on Maui last November--only took one pair of shoes with me, and those were waaay to warm for the Maui temps! I fell in love with the MBT's, and was looking for a lighter color this summer. I thought the price I paid on Maui was good ($149 on sale) but when I saw the price on Amazon.com, the color AND in my size--had to have them. They are comfortable, and have better arch support than another brand. I don't have any trouble with the rocker bottom as I have been wearing these type of shoes for over a year. I can literally hear my feet go "Ahhhh!" when I put these sandals on. I LOVE THEM! And the price could not be beat!

5.0 out of 5 stars I only wear MBT shoes and sandals., June 15, 2011

This sandal style looks equally nice with shorts, slacks and skirts. Color is soft creamy white, neutral and easy on the eye rather than shouting "spats white". Has the new lower profile sole. They are extremely comfortable and easy walking, all day!
