I love the MBT technology. The quality of the leather is amazing. The cut of the boot very well thought and done. The model design is modern and fashion. Love it, recommed it. Would love to see the equivalent in brown leather instead of suede.

i love this Tambo boots, however i had to return them as soon as i received them because i was NOT able to zip it up.
my legs(calves) are too big or the boots are designed only for the calfless women. My shoes size is 5.5 but i ordered 6.5 and 7 both to get the right fit. Ladies with big calves(13" or over for size 7), do not buy them.

Order 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe. My first pair has to be returned because it's smaller than my normal size. The toe box runs short and narrow. I think this is MTB's error in sizing them wrong.

Also, I agree with another reviewer that these are not made for women with calves! If you are athletic/have muscles from walking, running, cycling, etc., they will be very tight at first and hard to zip. There is some give and they will stretch within reason after being broken in. It seems the company only tried these for size using skinny, teen aged, fashion-model-type women.

These are beautiful, if expensive, boots. I must wear only negative heel shoes due to a intermetatarsal neuroma. They allow me to walk without pain.

I'm ordering a pair in each color, the sale on these for 1/3 the normal high price is too much to resist. Negative heel boots are very hard to find! MTB's well made and very comfortable, once your fit is established. The prices are super high. I've waited for these to go on sale. If you are reluctant to pay so much, watch for sales!

For less expensive but good quality negative heels, try Sketchers Shape Ups and "Earth" brand. For an almost exact copy of this style, but in a vegan "patent leather" material (MTB's are real leather), look for Earth Women's Elite. They cost $99, come in several bright and shinny colors, and run true to size in fit.

No need to break in, and I wore them 7 hours a day walking. I did buy a half size bigger than my normal MBT's, which was perfect. They look good and were a godsend in cold France.

I am a huge MBT fan and have been very disappointed in these boots. I wonder if they are even real MBTs???

I bought them over the summer, when they were on sale, and am only trying them on now--they do zip up, but as others have noted, the toe box is narrower than on other MBTs I've owned.

The leather doesn't feel as nice, either -- it rubs on the ankles. If I had saved the box, I'd be returning these but it's too late now....sigh.

It's true that I have wide feet, but this is my sixth pair of MBTs and it's never been a problem before. Maybe these will become more comfortable as the leather gives, but all my other MBTs have been super comfortable as soon as I put them on.

If you can try these on before you buy them, I would.

These are soooooo comfy.

I bought one full size up from my normal shoe size based on previous reviews but I think half size up would have been fine.

I work out every day but I still felt some difference after wearing these all day.

Quality is VERY nice. Caught them when they went down to about $110!

This is my first MBT type footwear. It takes practice but will be good for the lower back. Little too warm to wear in the heat of summer but will be great this winter. Good looking, appear to be well made.

If you have big calves, these boots might not fit you well. Overall, they are fantastic boots! It is so comfortable to wear them. I love mbt products.

I definitely recommend this boot. I bought it after wearing the Mary Jane style MBTs for over a year. I have worn it pretty much daily for the past 3 or 4 months. It is so much more comfortable than any other shoe I own. It still looks new and has held up perfectly. It felt very snug at first, but after about a week, the leather loosened a little bit and now fits perfectly. I especially enjoy wearing them when I have to be on my feet for a long amount of time. Their only drawback is in the snow: they are slippery and aren't 100% waterproof.

I have not worn this outside yet but when I tried it, i think I looked chic in it.
