This hole punch simply does not do a good job for making diamond holes. It does not make a clean cut and a piece gets left on at the corner of the diamond. I wish I could find a very well made (even commercial grade) diamond hole punch. If your looking for a well made punch look elsewhere.

We had a new product proto-type to create and with this punch we were able to make the proto-type look very much like a production piece. It worked wonderfully and we are finding additional uses for it daily.
