I have used this difficult to find insect repellent with better results than with the use of any other repellent for several years (I have tried: Cutter, Deep Woods Off, Off and Skin so Soft). I do not spray on my face, rather I spray my finger and then apply it with my finger on my cheeks and ears. Excellent for flying insects that plague the South, maybe less so for ticks and chiggers.

This stuff is really good. I'm in the UK but had to buy this from the USA to get it in the much more convenient aerosol form. In the UK it appears to be available only as a lotion.

I spend a lot of time gardening in a deer-infested area that is right in the path of their travels to the lake for water. I feel safe with this product, and was told it would be the safest product due to the fact that as a time-release, the Deet would not be on your skin as long as other products. I don't know that Deet is dangerous over the long-run, but I figure why take a chance. The smell is acceptable, and the spray not sticky.
