Well, this frame is cheap in cost, but also cheap looking in quality and the corners may not all meet up perfectly upon close inspection. I'll put it this way, for a college dorm or kids room it may look OK, but if you have a nice house this won't look good on your wall.

If you are framing only a photo or poster, it's probably OK, but if you're trying to frame something in one or two mount boards, it's way too thin to fit that kind of stuff. The frame is basically 4 edges that slide on or off of plexiglass that sandwiches the image against a back board. Overall this didn't work for what I was intending to frame, but it might work for other artwork. It's definitely the cheapest frame I've ever bought and next time I'll pay more for one that is designed to fit mounting boards.

So I take this thing apart......put the poster in it. But now the removable edges do not want to stay in place. Not happy with this at all. Going to have to super glue the back of the edges so the frame will work.

I thought when this frame came it'd be of slightly better quality. I knew it was cheap but I wasn't impressed. The plastic was cracked in the corner as well. Seems to be a trend with any cheap frames I bought on Amazon.

I had an odd-sized Cezanne print and decided to try this poster frame. Unfortunately,
the plastic on the front was badly scratched on two edges (despite the removable
protective sheet covering it), and the single ratchet for hanging had to pried away
from the backboard with a very thin and sharp knife. Since my print is dark on the
edges, the scratches didn't show too much, so I decided to cut my losses and just
use it.

Used only the acrylic to replace damaged ones. A small scratch, but no big deal. This was an inexpensive way to reframe two pen and ink drawings we have had for years. Thank you.

I use this in my classroom to write my objectives for students. I needed the clear plastic for dry erase purposes--filled it with wrapping paper and it works like a champ. Added a bunch of magnets-I was good to go!

I should have listened to the other reviews, but I'm on a budget and I had a poster picture of my child that needed a frame...
So, in lieu of the more expensive frames, this is the one I chose. At first glance the frame itself looks nice, under a closer inspection I found that some of the snap on sides were cut just a hair short, so the white background of the photo could clearly be seen in the corners where the edges fall short of meeting.
In addition to the edges not meeting, I can completely see where the edges were cut. By that I mean that the way the edges were cut you can see plastic sticking out like the plastic was only cut 99% of the way and the other 1% is where the plastic is jagged from snapping apart. I hope that makes sense.
I noticed that the finish on the front of the frame was as to be expected, a glossy black just like the photo, but they didn't continue the gloss onto the backside, which is a flat matte black, so if you look from the side you can see the matte from where the gloss ends and the matte begins. I'm a little OCD and things like that bug me...

Anyway, my last observance for the negative side of this frame, and one of the biggest issues I have with it, the hooks to hang the frame are completely superglued on so there is no room to hook anything on the hooks at all!! You can't pull or bend the top of the hook so it will stick out for a small nail to hook because even the top of the hook is glued, they are completely worthless, and I ended up having to glue on hooks that stuck up myself in order to just be able to hang the poster. That bugged me a lot.

The pros is that the plastic sheet that lays on tip of the poster is really thick and adequate for the job, and was seemingly cut perfectly for the frame, also the cardboard backing is sturdy and seems as if it will withstand long-term usage... Now that I replaced the hooks, of course.

All in all, I guess you get what you pay for, although I really really expected more... Cheap plastic frame that wasn't manufactured well, I'm sure I could of found something similar at the dollar store.

Its sturdy and simple. Its perfect for 16 b7 20 blowups you want to highlight or small posters. If you want a fancy frame this is not it.

Good: It's cheap! Bad: It looks cheap. I think it's great for holding a poster or some 16x20" photo print for a dorm, kids or guest room. It's just practical enough to hold a picture on the wall for some ambiance, but nothing artistic that you'll want to admire or stare at - since the frame will distract poorly from the art.

The plastic molding is very thin and doesn't line up always perfectly at the corners. Very lightweight (could easily hang with a small nail in drywall), safe plexiglass, ships well overseas (APO address), and mounts vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape). I'm just trying to find a place for it in my house... where it will not attract too-much attention.
