5.0 out of 5 stars This Book get's the Job done, But no Govanus Humor, August 9, 1999
Both Bob King and Gary Govanus are excellent authors and more than knowledgeable about their subject matter. This book goes right to the point and combined with the Trancender exam is another test taken and passed. I did however miss those critical "one Liners" that keep you interested in the material. This book provided great insight into the Exchange server, but issues too many "practice, Practice, Practice" warnings. Highly Recommended for daylight reading only! Thanks Bob, I'm glad the long MCSE ordeal is over.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sure shot! Can't go wrong here., November 19, 1998

This review is from: MCSE Exam Notes : NT Server 4 (Paperback)
I just passed the 70-067 exam today with a score of 872. Here is how I did it. First, I bought this book. NT Server covers alot of material and you will need something that gets right down to the heart of the material, not a bunch of fluffy crap. I spent 3 days reading this book and hi-lited along the way too. Once I finished, I used the Transcender test for 70-067 and scored only in the 700s, so I printed out the completed tests and looked up the wrong answers in this book. My second round (2 days after) I scored 986, 891, and 891. The real test only requires a passing score of 764. WOW! I've used this series of books for NT Workstation, IIS4, and TCP/IP 4 and passed the tests the first try each time. That's how I know this series is for real...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good book, March 13, 2000
By A Customer
This is a great book for review. I actually used the book to learn the product. When you have a 1600 page book to read to learn something, it's a little daunting. This gave me just what I needed to set up a small 2 computer, 2 site network to learn mostly on my own. Read this, then consult the 1600 page novel for things you're not sure of. Then set up a small network, and you're ready to go. If you want to pass the mcse test after that, you may still need the Transcenders test.
