I've looked at most of the MCSE Certification books while preparing to get my MCSE. One of the hardest things for me has been finding books that have solid troubleshooting information. In this new book, however, the troubleshooting section is one of the best I've seen. I can tell you that it not only gave me very valuable information to help me pass the exam, but the information in here is good enough that I'll be able to use it as a solid reference manual when I encounter problems in my Exchange environment. Highly recommended!

In preparation for my exam I used three books, the SAM's book, the Sybex book and the Dummies book. The undisputed best book among the three was Dummies. The practical information provided in this book is hard to come by in other study materials. This book goes beyond the requirements for the exam and teaches you how to use the product in every day situations. My thanks to the authors for providing a well written and insightful manuscript that helped me pass the Exchange exam with ease.

I just finished taking one of Mr. Rachui's Exchange classes, and was blown away. He has an extraordinary knowledge of Exchange, and communicates it well through both his book and his classroom lectures. He is a full-time administrator with global enterprise experience, and his expertise definitely shows in this book. I highly recommend the book, as well as his class. Great job!

This is a great book if your purpose is to pass the exam. The Sybex book will give you more detail. I pased the exam on the first try with just these two books and no experience.

I purchased this book as part of a technical library for our messaging admins. After reading it, it has become the standard reference tool for all of the administration and architectural work on our Exchange environment. I can only hope that these authors come out with new titles in the very near future.

Any books that contain solid practical exercises are worth an investment. I've read Sybex book many times and become disenchanted by its lack of how-to-do-something. Reading theory does require some experiment in order for someone to really grasp the true meaning of the software.

A very poor book for newbies to Exchange. The book assumes way to much pre-existing knowledge from it's reader. I found that the Sybex book by Richard Easlick & James Chellis to be a much more detailed and well laid out book for learning Exchange. I think this book would be good as a reference for Exchange admins or for test review after much study elsewhere. If you are looking for a book to learn and pass the MS test from, pass this one up.

I used this book with another MCSE study guide to prepare for the Exchange 5.5 exam. What a great combination. This book gave me an overview of the entire Exchange enviorment. I recommend this book!!!

This is an excellent book if you are pursuing the MCSE cert, it's very easy to understand all the concepts of the Exchange Server 5.5 exam, the autor goes right to the point with very concise and easy terms, if you want to understand all the concepts needed for the exam, this is your book, it includes a cd with transcender demos, and a prep test tool that all by itself is worth the money you pay for it, you can use it to test yourself and see if you are ready for the real thing, and if you really want to be a master of exchange server 5.5 use this book for the intro to the basics and then buy Exchange Server 5.5 secrets by Guaraldi, Sides, Studt and Condon for the very technical knowledge.

I just finished studying for the NT Exchange Server 5.5 exam using this book and passed the test !!! The book is very easy to read and understand, and the authors have taken great pains to give you all the information you need to know to pass the test. They even tell you what you DONT need to know! A true lifesaver for me and I would reccommend this to anyone who would like to learn about Exchange Server 5.5 and pass the test. Good luck folks **smiles**
