This is a very good book if you already know a lot about NT. If you don't know a lot about the subject, you shouldn't be studying for this test any way. There is not one book you can study by itself to pass any of the MCSE tests. Use this in conjunction with Transcenders practice tests and you will pass the test.

I am an experienced administrator and I found this book sorely lacking for the exam prep. I will admit that it is very acurate, but not very complete. I would not rely on this as a sole source for exam preparation. I ended up using quite a bit of other material to fill in the holes left by this book.

I'm holding on to my copy and still consider it money well spent. The concise nature of the book does make it a good quick refrence guide to keep in the office.

This is the book I have always wanted to have. As a guide and reference, it is perfect. But, if you are new to NT 4, this book may not help you much. It assumes that you are familiar with basic concepts of Windows NT environment.

This book provides good study outline and a strategy for tracking your progress but it's not detailed enough to be a primary study resource. I wouldn't buy it again.

I found other books are more useful than this one. I did not like the logical way of organizing the chapters. Besides, the sample exam at the end of the book is very trivial and does not give the right picture of the real exam defficulty.

I used this one >$20 book to pass both the Core and the Enterprise exam. Prior to the purchase, I would say that my skill level was between beginning and intermediate. After buying - and really analyzing - the book, I feel that I can troubleshoot any NT installation, and proved it to myself, and my employer, by passing both exams without any difficulty at all.

If you've already passed 70-67 (NT Core), then for the money, this is the <i>only</i> book to buy. You can tear out the At-A-Glance tables and the summary and get the hardcore information you need to pass this one (70-68).

The "Fast Facts Review" chapter is a summation of everything else in the book. Knowing NT well, I was able to just read that chapter. If you don't know NT so well (which I then question why you're taking this exam) then you can read the rest of the book and fill in the holes in your knowledge.

If you study carefully, this book has all the material in it you need to pass the Core AND the Enterprise exam. The author has great insight into the certification program and crafted a truly useful book.

If you need intro to computers, this is the wrong book for you. But if you need intro to computers, you better not be studying for this test anyway.

You get the facts you need to know without all the other garbage. This helps you focus your study and move on.
