5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent book, April 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: MCSE NT Server 4 Exam Cram Adaptive Testing Edition: Exam: 70-067 (Paperback)
I read this book prior to taking my certification exam.I passed my exam the first try.I found it to be most HELPFULL in teaching you what you need to know to pass the exam. Although I would not recommend it as an ALL sufficient study tool for studying for the exam, for me the book accomplished EXACTLY what it was supposed to do. Hence the name exam CRAM. I was pleased with the layout of the book and I especially liked the way the book included questions at the end of every chapter to help you see how much of your reading is being retained in the brain {pun intended}. Although I did find a few errors in the book, the majority of them were only typos {e.g.} incorrect letter coorelation in answer key to the actual answers of the questions. These errors are nothing that would keep me from giving this book my highest recommendation. This book did an excellent job of helping me understand why the right answers were right and the wrong answers wrong in the practice test. This book also contains helpfull insight on how to prepare mentally for the exam.Last but not least,if your like me and don't have much time to study except for mabey times like breaktime at work, this book proved much easier to carry around than some of the "phone books" that are on the market. If you are serious about passing your exam, buy this book today and get to reading!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book in terms of it's purpose..., July 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: MCSE NT Server 4 Exam Cram Adaptive Testing Edition: Exam: 70-067 (Paperback)
The book is designed to help the exam taker to cram in those last facts and prepare for the actual exam. I used Alan Carter's book to learn and get hands-on experience as best as I could with my limited home network setup. This book really sealed it for me and was extremely valuable. I honestly don't think I would have done it without this book. Get the experience if you can because that will be the most valuable learning, but get this book and read it before taking the exam. I passed the first time. All the best!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good book for prepping, March 2, 2000
By
This review is from: MCSE NT Server 4 Exam Cram Adaptive Testing Edition: Exam: 70-067 (Paperback)
When utilized with other study sources - CBTs, Flashcards, HandsOn, this book is quite good. It was weak in a few areas and I wouldn't use just this source. This is my third "exam cram" book and I'll happily buy more. Oh - check the website for errata.
