Book Description

0789728737 978-0789728739 April 12, 2003

MCSE Windows 2000 Server Exam Cram 2, Second Edition is the perfect study guide for readers preparing for the 70-215 exam, which measures the ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot Windows 2000 Server as a member server of a domain in an Active Directory environment. This book is not intended to teach new material. Instead it assumes that you have a solid foundation of knowledge but can use a refresher on important concepts as well as a guide to exam topics and objectives. This book focuses exactly on what you need to pass the exam - it features test-taking strategies, time-saving study tips, and a special Cram Sheet that includes tips, acronyms, and memory joggers not available anywhere else. The series is supported online at several Web sites: examcram.com, informit.com, and cramsession.com.

The accompanying CD features PrepLogic™ Practice Tests, Preview Edition. This product includes one complete PrepLogic Practice Test with approximately the same number of questions found on the actual vendor exam. Each question contains full, detailed explanations of the correct and incorrect answers. The engine offers two study modes, Practice Test and Flash Review, full exam customization, and a detailed score report.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does it get any better than this?, November 10, 2003

This review is from: MCSE Windows 2000 Server Exam Cram 2 (Exam Cram 70-215) (Paperback)
I have been in the IT industry for about 10 years now, and I have read many study guides, prep books, and used many testing simulators. And I must say this one is on target. All the testing areas are covered in excellent detail. The wording is appropriate for the material, and the testing simulator on the cd is perfect. I passed the test on the first try, and I have Que's Exam Cram2 to thank for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Passed the 76-215 REFRESH Exam with this book!, June 8, 2003
This review is from: MCSE Windows 2000 Server Exam Cram 2 (Exam Cram 70-215) (Paperback)
After studying and passing the Windows 2000 Professional 76-210 Refresh test, I had only 5 days to prepare for the Server 76-215 Refresh Exam. I took a couple of days off and read this book almost cover-to-cover, in front of the computer to do labs, in one weekend.
I passed the 4-hour exam in less than 2 hours. I would tell you to go out and get this book as it was intended for, to refresh all of the information you learned from previous material or on-the-job training.
This is not the most entertaining book I've ever read. I kept referring to this book as a "DENSE" book, each page being worth at least 5 pages of other material. But isn't that the point of the Exam Cram2?

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book used this to pass the exam!!!, July 26, 2004
This review is from: MCSE Windows 2000 Server Exam Cram 2 (Exam Cram 70-215) (Paperback)
This book is well worth the money, not only does it prepare you for this exam, but it also helps you perform better as a network administrator. This book will answer many questions you have on NTFS permissions, Groups and server setup. I highly recommend this book. IT IS WORTH THE MONEY!!! I passed my exam using this book!!! My only source of preparation was this book and some practice exams.

This book is well worth the money.
Buy it and read it cover to cover; you will not be disappointed.
