Lance Cockcroft, MCP+I, MCSE+I, MCT, A+, Network+, CCNA (Atlanta, GA) is currently the CTO of Applied Network Solutions, a Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider that has been working with Windows 2000 OS since beta 2. He has taught Microsoft Official Curriculum at Kennsaw State University, and Southern Polytechnic University since 1996.

Erik Eckel is an award-winning writer who co-authored the current leading Windows 2000 Accelerated Exam Prep guide, from Coriolis. Serves as editor-in-chief for TechProGuild, a subscription IT news and information Web site and writes a popular column, Paperchase Digest, targeting IT certification topics. Eckel earned a B.A. in English from the University of Louisville (1990), as well as a Microsoft Network Engineer diploma from Sullivan College (1999). I bought the book brand new and it cam with two CD's. The book is good, too the point, but neither CD works properly. One Cd generates error messages on any OS or machine, and the other can't be installed because of missing serial number/CD key, I cannot find anywhere in the enclosed material. There are many books out there on this topic don't buy this one.
