5.0 out of 5 stars An easy read and the only book you need for the exam.
Please keep in mind that it will be the only book you need if you also use common sense. I had never worked in an enterprise environment before and I crammed this book in 2 nights. Then I went in and passed my enterprise adaptive exam by only missing 2 questions. Some things are not covered in detail in this book, but if you have even a slight understanding of those...

3.0 out of 5 stars Book=Good; CD=BAD
The book itself is a very good exam prep resource, but do yourself a favor and find another source for sample tests. The practice exams contain more errors than any other book in the series. Beg, borrow or steal the Transcender or Sybex tests and then use this book to learn what you don't know.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellant Source for Test Info, August 30, 1999

I used this book and have also used NT Workstation for Dummies with success. I whole heartedly recomend the Flash Cards for Dummies. These can be put on a Palm Pilot for review anywhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!, February 25, 2001
By
Miguel Ruiz (Lakewood, Co United States) - See all my reviews
I bought this book (and a few others) to finish my MCSE before the deadline (a few days away). I purchased this particular book because of the reviews. This was my first "Dummies" purchase ever, and I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED!

I had always stayed away from the Dummies series because everyone I knew would poke fun at someone who brought one into work.

Now that I know how awsome these books are I recommend them everytime someone asks, "Which book should I buy for <insert subject here>?"

The author does an excellent job going over all of the material in an orderly and concise manner. From the first page, to the last page you will find yourself understanding key concepts in no time!

4.0 out of 5 stars good read, December 10, 1999
By A Customer
If you need to touch up or fill in the holes in your information, this is the book to read. I am taking classes for my MCSE exams and I wasn't sure on a couple of things about two weeks before the test, so I ordered this book NDA and skimmed through. I immediately found the info that I wasn't sure about. I didn't read the whole book, but it was worth the money for the book and the shipping to have passed the test on the first try.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for basics but lacking in many areas, July 9, 1999

This review is from: MCSE Windows NT Server 4 in the Enterprise for Dummies (Paperback)
This book touched on many of the basic NT concepts but lacked information specific to the NT Enterprise material necessary to pass the Enterprise exam. I would recommend this book to anyone who works with NT in general but not to those who are looking for additional material to prep for the SITE exam.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only book I used to Pass 070-068, April 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: MCSE Windows NT Server 4 in the Enterprise for Dummies (Paperback)
I did not attend a CTEC for this test and this is the only book I used to pass with a 702. The passing grade was 560. This was my 6th test and the 4th time I have used a Dummies book. I just bought TCP/IP for Dummies.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Very Good Resource, March 24, 1999

I have to disagree with the last writer. I used this book and the Govanus Sybex exam notes and got a 712 with 560 needed to pass on the adaptive test. I hope that doesn't mean I am a Dummy! This book was error free and did have needed detail in it. The CD that came with it was very good as well. I would rate it high marks as it did prepare me for the test.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a very good study resource, February 12, 1999

This book is basic. I guess thats why its for dummies. In my opinion it does not prepare you for the MCSE exam.

This was the second MCSE test I have taken Server 4 being the first. I found this book to be right on the money. I found the book to be a perfect study guide and would recommend it to anyone.
