I don't have this product but I'm going to be remodeling my bathrooms and a search for a squatting toilet led me here. It seems as though none of the major manufacturers make these as they are virtually unheard of in the United States.
I simply wanted to post this review to mention that I have discovered squatting to be the absolute best way to eliminate solid waste.
I am in excellent shape and eat a diet full of fruits, nuts and seeds, vegetables and water. I don't eat red meat or pork and do my best to take care of the body God gave me. I'm not saying this to brag because I haven't always been this way, rather to emphasize the fact that anyone can have trouble going. Every once in a while, my bowels would be hard or compacted (think, all piled up together in the front and trying to get out at the same time) and I would have very painful, sometimes even bloody bowel movements or I would have to use an enema.
Squatting has completely eliminated this problem. I had hemorrhoids so bad I considered surgery. I believe I even had an external anal fissure, you get the idea. Not only has squatting simplified my bowel movements, it has also allowed my body to completely heal the hemorrhoids. I can't sing the praises of relieving yourself this way loud enough.
Wherever I am, Walmart, the library, etc. when I have to go, I squat (yes, it means I have to mount the toilet). There are products out there that amount to foot stands which elevate your feet to a position equivalent to squatting. I've done that and it is better than sitting. However, a full fledged squat is the best way, hands down.
I imagine this will catch on here in the U.S. some decades down the road; but this simplistic, God intended, natural way to go has truly been a blessing to me!

If I were building a new house, I'd install one of these. The benefits are worth it and it looks likes it would be really easy to keep clean. If you suffer from constipation or diverticulitis or hemorrhoids, squatting will relieve you of much of these modern toilet induced injuries. But until then, get a Squatty Potty.
