4.0 out of 5 stars I Wish I Had This Book Four Years Ago...
I am an avid skeet shooter, and own 3 MECS- 1 9000G and 2 9000Hs. Much of what is in this book is helpful. Unfortunately, I had already learned many of the book's suggestions the hard way through making mistakes. This book would be very helpful to the beginning reloader who purchased a MEC machine. I do not agree with one of the earlier reviews, which states that...

1.0 out of 5 stars The book....
I thought the book was a complete waste. It was of no value. It took a total of 20 minutes to read. I brought the book to my gun club and there was a good round of laughter. Members at the club told me there was a bridge for sale.

I do not agree with one of the earlier reviews, which states that "there is nothing in this book that will give you any more insight..." Even though I have used MEC machines for 4 years, I still found some helpful pearls in this monograph.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mec Reloading Secrets-good book, April 24, 2001

I think this book was worth the money as it helped improve my knowledge and relationship with my machines. It filled in several gaps in the factory manual. MEC should have reviewed it and added to their 9000G manual. With four 9000G's I liked it and found it quite helpful. I'll take all the help I can get.

4.0 out of 5 stars Book is overpriced, but helpful., October 15, 2010

At $17.95, I thought the book was overpriced, *but* it does contain some helpful tips for using MEC reloaders. I recently got back into reloading after a 30 year hiatus and purchased a MEC 9000GN. The book saved me a lot of time and frustration in the transition from a basic single stage reloader to a top-of-the-line, high volume progressive reloader.

1.0 out of 5 stars You already know everything in this book, February 12, 2002

This "book" (its zerox copies with a binder) tells you nothing you wouldn't know after reloading on mec's for a week. DON'T BUY IT.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total waste, April 18, 2001
This review is from: MEC Shotshell Reloading Secrets, Second Edition (Paperback)
Do not buy this book. It is a total waste of $... not to mention the paper it is printed on. There it nothing in this book that will give you any more insight (let alone "secrets to reloading") than reading the directions that came with your MEC and a little common sense.
