Where did you last see that racecar? If you remember, you could win! Turn over a picture card in this fun matching game and then turn over another. Do the Cars 2 character pictures match? If not, look for those pictures on your next turn - but can you remember where the other ones were? Match up as many pairs as you can, and if you match the most, you'll win! I wanted to introduce my son to board games and this is the perfect game for him. He's 3 months shy of 3 years old and he could actually understand the rules and play the game with me. I love the cars theme and it makes him even more interested in the game. It helps him understand taking turns and matching. I recommend this game for young toddlers.

Cars 2 Memory adds a "race down the track" scoring element. This provides a twist of being able to win by not having the most matches when all the cards are collected, but the first to have eight matches, making it a "race". Also a "no one wins" scenario occurs if one player can keep the other to seven or fewer matches. Questionable if this is "good gaming", but it does change the typical Memory game play.

The kids have fun with it in any case.
