As many of us know tear stains are a pain, my puppy never had any serious tear stain problems until the weather changed. I came home and found big brown tear stains under her eyes and got really upset because they just made her pretty white coat look bad. None of the other dogs in the house have tear stains, only my puppy does. Well, I thought I was prepared because I bought a solution from another pet store but that did not work at all! I remember hearing about Diamond Eye Tear Stain Remover and decided to give it a try. I was amazed at how well it got the stains out. I followed the directions and rubbed it on her tear stains 3 times a day and the stains are slowly getting better. Within two days I noticed a big change and within a week the tear stains are almost gone. I didn't think it could get the harden brown flakes under her eye or get that brownish color removed, but it's working and I am happy as can be. I just use a cotton swab and gently rub making sure her tear stain gets good and wet and just start rubbing, by the time I'm finished the cotton swab is dirty and her tear stain is a little lighter. I must say this is the best product and I'm so happy I bought it. I hope this helps other dog owners with their pups stubborn tear stains.

I purchased this item at a dog show a few months ago. I have been very happy with the results and was excited to find it on Amazon at such a great price. I did discover a little secret though. After you clean your pets eyes, apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the eye stain. It will help keep the next tears from staining. After I cleaned and applied the petroleum jelly every day for about two weeks the stains were gone. Now I can just clean when I notice the stains reappearing. Great product.

I used this product in the past and it did work to a degree.and I have to say it worked better than the other brands who claimed to remove tear stains.
I have a white French Bulldog who has tear staining under his eyes. However, I just purchased a couple of new bottles for him and it just doesn't work as it did the first time. I clean under his eyes at least two times a day. I don't know if the composition has changed or my pet's tearing has become resistant to this product, whatever the case, it does not work for him anymore. Wish it did!

We have tried at least 5 products including the homemade formula. This is by far the best and the easiest to use. Instructions are simple (clean area) and do not require rinsing. This product is limited at the retail level by the manufacturer and accordingly difficult to find at times. Vitacoat sells the majority of its product line to professionals. Also prefer using it and Missing Link over the drugs that are in Angel's Eyes.

We use this on our Maltese puppy and suggest you couple it with Missng Link Puppy Health (from Amazon)... and the coat, skin, and eye stains all improved. Missing Link is also available for adult and older dogs.

I tried this solution,as recommended on our Bichon Frise. It reduced the stains but did not eliminate them. Our pet suffered no ill effects.

It barely worked and was only 40-50% effective.

It may be worth a try but it didn't work for my dog.

I have used Diamond Eye for tear stains on my show Cavaliers for years. It is a wonderful product. I wouldn't use any other product on my dear cavaliers. It is easy to use and it does the trick, if you follow the directions!

Used this on my Havanese for his eye staining. It seemed to help somewhat but did not completely take the brown out around his eyes. Ended up purchasing Angels' Eyes, which did the trick. Now I use the Diamond Eye a few times a week to clean his eye area.
