1.0 out of 5 stars More thought went into designing the packaging rather than the game, August 24, 2008

The board looks pretty, but it is extremely difficult to judge what constitutes a space(for moving the game pieces). It was difficult for my 6 year old-- and even me-- to figure out where to move.

This is also one of those games that can last for a long time because you have to move around in circles to land on a card. And, some of the cards are "cursed" so they don't even count towards a "win".

If we get creative...we might be able to revamp this into a playable came somehow...but as is, the game is no good.

The game looks great, but I agree with another reviewer, it is kind of hard to be sure what constitute a space sometimes, but if you agree ahead of time, this is one space or this is two spaces, you can overcome that. I played this with my 5 year old and it did not take that long, because you can move forward or backwards thus not 'endlessly' trying to get one card.

The only drawback I found are the stories you complete to win. They are supposed to be funny when you read them at the end of the game, and in someway they are, but some are kind of weird, like in one of our resulting stories, pinochio leave cinderella and marry cap. hook instead. I don't know, but with a little more thoughts to create the story cards the results will be funny and not that weird.
