Bratz Life also features user-created custom soundtracks and a cell-phone shaped purple remote. Plus, girls can transport saved games and transfer items, so it can easily be packed up and brought to a friend's house. .
Create Your Own Character
Summer break is here and you're a typical Bratz teenager with one goal -- to become a top fashion designer. The object of the game is to compete in fashion shows and attend hot runway events. Each new game starts with the creation of a cool Bratz character.
First select your Bratz name, Zodiac sign, and then choose from 12 personality types. She can be sweet, sassy, sophisticated, or anything in between! The next step is to pick out physical traits and outfits. Select skin color, hair style, eye color, lip color, make-up, and then create a totally hip outfit. Once the Bratz character looks absolutely fabulous, it is time to select a bedroom style for her home screen. Then the real fun begins. As you gain popularity, you'll receive text messages about upcoming events, and if you score enough points, you might even make the cover of Bratz Magazine.
Play Test
More complex than other plug-in games, Bratz Life provides an endless source of entertainment. The game menu is simple to navigate and has loads of cute icons, including one that allows players to choose a music track. Girls can decorate their character's room, visit the juice bar to chat with friends, or take a trip to the salon for a makeover.
Progress is recorded using meters, such as the Fashion Sense Meter and Popularity Meter. Although it is a near-perfect girl's toy, Bratz Life has one minor design flaw. Multiple players can play separate games and save them, but only one person can play at a time, which slightly takes away from the competitive element.
Despite this minor inconvenience, Bratz Life provides hours of silly play, encourages imagination and creativity, and lets little fashionistas live out their wildest dreams.

This toy should have an age rating of teenager or OLDER on it. I KNOW that the Bratz are a little trashy looking, and not suitable for younger children but honestly this game is bad. I let my 7yr girl have "some" bratz. (Kidz are not that trashy) While playing this game my daughter learned that in order to "make friends" on the game you need to answer some questions asked by another characters, the way they want you to answer them, not by what you really feel or like. If you don't have much in common (answer the questions your way) they will choose to "not be your friend" and what makes this worse- YOU ARE GRADED ON YOUR POPULARITY!!! They ask you questions like "what kind of boys do you like?" I thought this game had an age of 8+ on it!!! On our daily planner one day, we were told to -"Go to the Mall today and flash your smile (flirt) at a boy (whom we don't know, STRANGER!!!) who has the tickets to Fashion Blitz" This is teaching our young girls to 1) go flirt with a stranger and 2) use people or flirt with a guy to get something they want. WHAT IS WRONGE WITH THIS PICTURE???Last but not least ALL you do in the game, besides flirting with strangers and desperately trying to get someone to be your friend by saying things that they want to hear, all you do is dress your character and other Bratz characters OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Hey I like shopping and going to the salon as much as anyone, but really how many times can you change shoes and hair? When you run out of money to buy new clothing you do NOT even get a chance to earn more, UNLESS you are innvited to a Fashion show and you win prize money. You will not be invited to shows though UNLESS YOU MAKE FRIENDS AND ARE POPULAR. PARENTS OF YOUNG GIRLS WITH VALUES **** BEWARE******

My daughter had gotten money for Christmas and she decided to save it for something special. Well one day we went to the store and she saw this 30 dollar toy and she decided to buy it. After we got home she was eager to play it and made me watch her but after no more than 5 minutes the screen turned fuzzy then turned pink and the console turned off. She was so dissapointed. Then after a few minutes when she turned it on it wouldn't come on. After a few hours of turning it off and on she came to me and asked if we could return it. She was so happy when she got her money back that she decided to buy a 10 dollar Fashion Angels Designing kit in which you must use your mind to think up fashions and then cut out a pattern, trace it on fabric, cut it out, then put on a 12' cardbord model. You never run out designs for that.(I recommend that toy if your child wants to fashion design). She told me everything that was wrong with it and I was quite angry as well. The graphics are terrible, the sensor bars don't work unless you get right up on the console, there aren't many fashions to choose from, they're telling you to use people to get things you want, they get smart with you, and to make friends you must like what they like or they brush you off. Bottom line is: DON'T BUY THIS TOY UNLESS YOU WANT AN UNHAPPY CHILD!!!

This product was received in good time, however, my daughter never got a chance to experience the fun due to website probles associated with the manufacturer. The demand for the on-line interactive portion of this product was not in existance, so in essence the manufacturer sold a faulty product. They made promises regarding what their product would be and never met the expectations. This product was a waste of my money, time and caused a a little girl sadness on Christmas morn. DO NOT BUY!
