It's pretty small. I expected it to be bigger. My two year old has to bend over to operate it. Other than that it is great though. My two year old and my one year old both love it.

So I'm pretty sure that the commercials for this product say "It really vaccums!". Yeah, it doesn't, it's just a toy vaccum. Fun and cute, my son likes to push and pull things around. We got this so he would learn to not be afraid of mommy's vaccum.

Makes a woofing sound when you push it.
The ears wag, the eyes roll, and the "debris"
inside the canister rolls around.
It's hysterical
My 2 year old grandson pushes all around the house
and it keeps his attention. He imitates Mom with her vacuum.
Tail fell off but is easily reattached and does not effect
use of toy.

Well my son loves to "vacuum" when I do, so I thought this would be a nice idea. He loves dogs so I figured it would go over well. My son is 3 and he's not tall for his age, but this was really short. He still tried it out. I think what he liked the most was the noise the dog made when he stopped vacuuming. The dog whimpers at the end, and my son would make the sound as well. He purposly stopped it all the time to hear that noise. After he heard the noise a few times that would be the end and he'd reach for his ball popper and use that instead. I asked him next time I vacuumed if he wanted to go get the dog, and he would not. So I think it has been used a total of 3 times for 5-7 minutes at a time. Oh well I struck out. I think the design is very cute, maybe better for a younger child? Not sure.

it would be quite educational about helping mommy but its like it does not exist. she hates it and does not find it fun at all.by the way all it does is a repeating sound "wouf wouf vouuuuuum wouf wouf"... shes 2 now i dont know if she is going to like it in the future. it just sucks buying stuff they dont pay back.

nice toy keeps them busy for a while .....with flapping ears, sound effects and a lil (fake) dirt twirling around.....good toy and very sturdy too

he has so much fun with this toy. he loves to push toys, but he usually always looks for this toy. he loves it!

My boys saw a vacuum in a toy catalogue and wanted one badly (that one was sold out), I ended up buying the Bark-Bark Mitts as the least obnoxious, reasonably priced at the time of purchase alternative out there... It is tiny, and it is very cute, as other reviews state.

BUT... The handle does not stay on... Every other push/pull leaves a tail in hand and a flopped doggie on the floor with a loud bang - the boys are not particularly happy with how fragile it is. I'm considering super-gluing it, defeating the 1-inch or so height "adjustability"...

The part that "actually picks up" really leaves a mess behind - my guys vacuumed around the Christmas tree, then promptly took the vac to their bedroom and the result was pine needles EVERYWHERE. I guess I should have paid more attention when they excitedly yelled that it works...The design of the "brush" apparently deposits particles inside a small slot on the bottom (screwed on, not intended for opening), and when flipped or shaken, contents obviously spill. Vacuum freshly vacuumed floors only :-)

Overall, it's just another (cute) piece of plastic in the house...

I bought this for my 18th month old and she really liked it. I is very cute, but we have wood floors and everytime she would get to the area rug she couldn't push it. It was even hard for me to push it on the carpet. She would just get frustrated with it. I think the problem was that it says it really picks up (not sure if it does or not)so there are plastic tabs on the bottom to facilitate this, well this was the problem too. The tabs caused it not to roll easy. I even tried it down stairs on our carpet but it wouldn't work their either. It did work great when on the wood but we have too many rugs throughout the house for her to really push it around.

Got this for my child for this upcoming Christmas. A friend of ours had one and my little girl just loved it. It is too cute and makes doggies sounds while playing with it. Great for hand and eye coordination and keeps the little one busy.
