MGA Bratz The Movie Mansion
My daughter received this for Christmas from Santa and loves it! She hasn't stopped playing it. It's the perfect size for the bratz dolls. Her favorite part is the dance floor that flashes and plays music from her IPod. I would recommend this for sure!

Santa delivered this wonderful bargain (I was lucky enough to get this for less then $30 at Christmas with FREE shipping) to my 8 year old-who had NEVER seen it, although she loved her bratz, they needed a place to hang out! I love the colors (NOT PINK!) and decor, it's very trendy miami night club-ish and has a few pieces of furniture-lights, a disco ball and dance floor that is spoken alot about in other reviews-I agree wholeheartedly with that-but one BIG questions lurks as my child looks at me as well and says "But mommy, why isn't there more furnitrue for all this space?" Yes, indeed, the proportion of available space, once you place the chaise and dance floor, is enormous-and being an Early Childhood Teacher, I must admit, this toy missed a big playing "learning" opportunity. Kids need that "dramatic" and "imaginative" play using furntiure and doing something other than dancing at the big old mansion! A table and chair set to go with the grill perhaps? How about some stools for a smoothie bar like so many other of their pieces? (It's not like they don't have the molds) What about bathroom vanity-as they seem to be much more vain than their counterparts Barbie-in fact, I have found some great pieces of furniture but GASP! They are "hers" (The Barbie one I speak of).

I can't say anything more to the positive that hasn't already been said, but if you are envisioning your girl playing for hours and becoming the next interior designer on HGTV, you're in for a slight let down-hopefully if you read this you can get some supplemental pieces to offset any disappoinment!

I purchased the bratz mansion for my girl's ages 8 and 10 and they love it. The have had every little girl in a 4 block radius over for a bratz party. I haven't even gotten to the lighted stage that doubles as a speaker for their MP4 players. This was a excellent Buy. I would recommend if your children like bratz this is a perfect gift.

After reading the many poor reviews for the Barbie Dream House I decided to give the Bratz Mansion a shot. Other than the many decals the set up is VERY easy. My daughter is 8 and loves the indoor lights and dance floor. She plugs her MP3 player in to the dance floor without my help and has a blast!!

My little sister loved this Bratz Mansion. It has a cool dance floor that lights up and hooks up to an I Pod or MP 3 player to play the music out load. It has lights through out the house. It is realy neat.

The doll house does provide hours of entertainment. We we're able to get it at a great price on Amazon, which made it a great value. If you pay the retail price on it you may not be getting quite the value. There were some frustrating moment with "some assembly required". The balconey did not want to go into place until you balance the right amout of force while being careful. The 40+ stickers also took some time to get into place so expect at least 15-30 minutes out of the box before it's playtime! Also I'm expecting it to burn through a lot of batteries since if has lights and sound which younger children may not remember to turn off, both AA and AAA.

I bought this mansion at a discount from amazon during the holidays. I am glad I did not spend the regular price. The house itself is big and durable. The problem was it came with almost no furniture. The stickers for the mansion are drab beige and boring and difficult to put on. You will have to make it into a mansion because all you get is an empty house.

I am so glad I got this house cheap, b/c after we bought it I seen it went up over $100 ! It's pretty on the outside and thats really all you can say about it , there's nothing to it on the inside and theres not even room in the room to actually put the Bratz or furniture. My girls hardly even play with it.

I found this at Toys R' Us for 35$...Sweet deal! For that price this toy is a winner. It has a lot of good points. The outside of the house is especially beautiful and detailed. It looks Spanish inspired and as others mentioned, if you live in California or Florida it's likely you'll see similar details on real homes. The doors and windows have a lovely artistic design and the house is small-space friendly. It folds up to a size of 24 inches high, 18 1/2 inches wide and about 12 inches deep with the removable balcony attached. Once unfolded it doubles in width. The upstairs rooms are a bit shallow and don't hold much furniture and the downstairs doesn't have a lot of plastic floor space. I suggest placing it on a play rug of some kind.

It has a light up dance floor that you can play real music on and a disco ball that spins. The juice bar is a separate piece (matches your house too=very cool!) and does require some assembly but is sturdy once it's together and has great detail. They also include a grill that flips over and doubles as a record turntable...For all those BBQ's and dance parties of course! There is also a very cute movable palm tree that is nearly the height of the house itself. The spiral staircase stands on it's own and is movable too. It also has lots of sticker decals with suggestions on where to put them but this is optional and you can be creative and put them other places too.

I don't think I would have paid over 100$ for this toy. It IS a very cool dollhouse but as some other reviewers mentioned it lacks FURNITURE! It came with one chaise lounge and 3 plastic pillows and that's IT! This is fine if you already happen to own the Bratz World bathtub, beds, vanity, mirrors etc but of course THOSE extras are sold separately! I guess MGA expects you to buy the extra Bratz furniture. For all you grownup ladies out there, you too probably remember the old days when dollhouses came with EVERYTHING! I hope to see a return to this trend.

Another problem: if you already have Barbie furniture, Barbie stuff tends to look a little large and out of scale in the Bratz houses plus the Barbie colors don't harmonize. Some Barbie stuff looks ok but the Bratz furniture looks much better! The house also doesn't come with any dishes, fake food, drinks or other tiny details that other Bratz houses come with. I was a little disappointed with this because some other Bratz products came with really detailed cute plates, food, silverware, coffee cups etc. I think they should have included some similar items with this house...It is supposed to be a MANSION after all! Mansions aren't supposed to be empty!

This toy is beautiful and it is fun. It should have come with more stuff but if you already have the smaller Bratz house and some furniture, together it will make a HUGE play scene. Fortunately, I have a lot of other Bratz stuff and this house is something I have been searching for. I am glad I finally found it at a good price. I would advise people to NOT pay over 100$ for this toy. It will withstand normal play but with the younger ones especially the doors can come off etc. I would not call it 'flimsy' compared to other dollhouses but I would not call it durable either. I DO give MGA major style points though for the outer appearance. The house is feminine enough to please even the most girly-girls but it manages to retain realism as well. As someone else mentioned too it's NOT PINK and has no glaring, bright little-kid colors like many other dollhouses! The neutral palette is easy on the eyes and will harmonize with most decors. I am very happy with this house and when the little ones in my family come to visit, they'll LOVE it I am sure!

This product is very fun for the little ones and even the pre-teen.
BUT...Very little furniture or items come with it.

My daughter who was 11, and I went to our local fabric/hobby store.
For maybe $10 we bought a piece of fuzzy material to act like a big playing surface/carpet for the mansion so that the playing surface would be much much bigger.
My daughter placed stickers of plants and flowers on the outside of the mansion and we created an outside pool/cabana for it.
With a little imagination this toy can be hours of fun.
To enjoy as just what the manufacturer gives you..is somewhat pathetic.
I paid a whopping $22.00 for it Christmas 07 on amazon.
To see the cost of it now makes me laugh......and think of re-selling it a.s.a.p. :0)
Don't pay more than $30 imo.
If you already have it, then enjoy it and add to it!
