Yes, these little pups do a lot of whimpering in the store- but when you get home you can change it to HAPPY. That's because you just adopted this cute little guy. In HAPPY mode it barks, wags the tail and moves its' head. And you can turn it OFF as well. It is cute, yes a bit annoying but most toys are! My daughter loves hers- she has the golden retriever and now wants one of the newborn ones.

These Rescue pets were not even on my children's lists....I was walking up and isle and they began whimpering at me and moving their cute little heads saying ," TAke ME HOME AND LOVE ME...pleeeease!" So, naturally i picked two and put them in the cart. I had the best time shopping while they kept me company making noises. once in the car--i was getting annoyed that they wouldn't keep quiet... but I FOUND AN EASY TO MOVE ON/OFF SWITCH--so the problem was solved. My kids will go NUTS over these things. they are just too cute!!! we also just "rescued" a real dog--so it's even more fun...with the adoption papers etc...

My kids like this toy a lot. They got to name it and fill out the adoption certificate. It is c ute, but a little annoying if they play with it too long. It either wimpers or barks depending on the setting you pick. It has a motion sensor that sets it off. I started vaccuming and the thing barked it's head off (not literally). The kids like it though so I can deal.

My daughter wanted this for her birthday, so I had a friend buy it for her. My friend said that all it did while it was at her house was whimper. I laughed thought it was funny, then my daughter brought it home and the first night I turned it off. All it does is whimper, move its head and wag its tail. I thought with all the technology now a days that it would say something. Don't get me wrong my 5yoa daughter LOVES it, but when she is not around it is turned off!

I sold it. Thought it was the dog alarm. Otherwise it was really cute.My daughter had asked for one that woke her up barking so I then bought the one with the alarm.

these pupies are cute but very very annoying i dont have one but i looked at them in a store and they wouldnt stop whimpering. i think im just ganna get a puppy suprise instead its the same price and way less annoying.

I went to buy this Rescue Pet for my child, but didn't even get out of the store with it. It whimpered the entire time in my cart and on the way out to the car. The sound was so annoying, I took it right back into the store to return it. If noise bothers you, don't buy this toy.

recue puppys look sooo, cute i want to get one but it will propbile upset my dog. But i think it's cute and kids will love them and parents will regret they ever bought them.
