About the Author

Rick Astley is a dual British-Canadian citizen living in the USA. An electrical engineer, he was educated in Britain. He currently works as the Automotive Applications Manager for a Silicon Valley company. This work has entailed his being embedded with the electrical architecture group of one of the Big 3 car makers where he was able to observe first hand the process behind the design of a vehicle’s electrical system. He lives with his wife Anne, a 1970 MGB roadster and a 1970 MGB-GT V8 conversion, all reside in Farmington Hill, Michigan.  He has two grown sons.

This book is filled with accurate, well explained, useful, and all- inclusive information on MGB electrical systems. The many color pictures, charts, and wiring diagrams are very well presented and indispensible. Upgrades are included for many subsystems. There is nothing else on the market like it. I would recommend this book to anyone, be they a new MGB owner or an old hand.

An excellent resource for the British car owner - of any marque. The author's very easy to understand explaination of automotive electrical system unravels its mystery for any LBC owner. Although based on the MG, material in this manual is applicable to any classic car and is of great value when troubleshooting electrical system gremlins. Spot on!

This is a "must have" if you own an MGB. Everything you ever wanted to know about the electrical system in easy to understand dialogue. Plenty of diagrams and pictures to help solve any electrical problem. This was the best price I found anywhere.
