Brian Cook is the funniest writer I know in any genre, except possible the novelist Christopher Moore. His blog is focused on the Michigan Wolverines' football, basketball, hockey teams, etc. but is not partisan in the manner of, say, the drunk guy sitting next to you in Section 18 of the Big House, or the average loose cannon on talk radio. I don't mean to scare you guys but the words "comprehensive" and "analytical" and "astute" spring to mind immediately after the word "funny".

You can learn a lot from this guy for 99 cents a month.

Brian Cook's MGoBlog has distinguished itself as the go-to site for Michigan football analysis and news. BC's knowledge of the game, his passion for the team, and his witty writing style make the blog one of the very best on the Net in any category or topic. The level of analysis is borderline psychotic at times, in a good way. It offers firm evidence that professional quality, niche topical blogs have -at least in the realm of sports - completely and thoroughly outdistanced the mainstream media's "analysts". You'll never read the tripe on [...] the same way again.
