More than half of the micro mesh pads had illegible grit size inked on. They also seemed to do a poor job of final sanding compared to the sheets.

I purchased these pads to replace a set that I had purchased from another online retailer. I use the pads primarily for refinishing plastic and hard rubber products using a wet sanding technique. I had my original set for approximately 4 months and had done hundreds of jobs with them. They were still in good shape except that the sanding surfaces had grown a little tired and I was working a little harder to get the same results so I purchased 2 of these sets to replace them. I have been using one of the sets for less than a month and the sanding surfaces have already started to come loose from the pad. I have glued them several times so that I can keep on using them but the problem persists. Additionally, the interior padding used on this set does not have as much structural strength as my original set. They now bend like an old sponge. Considering the minimal cost savings over my original set and the fact that these pads will not last much longer, I would not buy these pads again. I will keep the second set for dry sanding jobs and will purchase another set from my original source.

This set of sanding squares is very nice. Each grit is color coded, and it comes with a reference card. I also like that each square is double sided, with the same grit on each side, and attached to a thin foam pad. They seem fairly durable as well, I have folded mine in half and wrapped them around my fingers to get into the insides of the wrapped wooden rings I make. I have been able to buff the finish of each ring to a high gloss working my way through the set. Great buy, I highly recommend this item.

The soft touch sanding pads are exactly what I expected from the description. I purchased the set to work on the nibs of my fountain pens and believe they are perfectly suited for that task, although I'll probably only use the two finest grit pads.

Shipping took about 3 weeks, which is stated in the product description page. No complaints!

I have been using these sanding pads for awhile and they are great. They are just the right shape for my small hands so they are comfortable to use. I use them for polymer clay and they have the variety of grits I was looking for.

These pads are a nice size to work with if you do not have a large area. I used them wet to refinish a 15 year old Corian table. It looks like brand new. These should last a long time if you rinse them off and dry them after use.

Hello!

I purchased these for pen finishing with wood turning projects and they are AWESOME! At first, while finishing acrylic projects or CA covered pens, as I was working my way through the different grits I was thinking "These aren't working." Then, like magic, as I got to the upper three grits it , they made my pens sparkle and shine. Truly awesome. My advice is don't get lazy. Don't cut out any of the grits-work up them all. It results in a great finish with very little extra time.

I will say that they are sensitive. If you apply too much pressure, especially while sanding acrylic, they will get damaged resulting in damage to your underlying project.

For a step up sanding experience these are the best I've used.

I am a pen /Stone turner. I turn Alabaster on a wood later (yes it can be done)
I use these on both acrylic pens and stone , they work great wet.
I use them wet on both the CA glue finish and the stone.

when they get dirty, bring them inside and use a toothbrush, and a dry towel, clean them off and dry them, they should last a while.
