The brightest thing next to a laser. It is so bright that if you turn it on at night in the house you can't turn it off because you are now blinded. Good battery life. However, how many times in your life will you use the S.O.S. feature, I mean really. It does have selectable brightness and memory which makes it easier to use.
The on-off switch at the end is a bit awkward.
