I purchased this Miller's Forge shedding comb for our long haired, lop ear bunny who needs to be combed several times a week. He isn't an Angora but he will become matted up pretty easily if not cared for. I tried a Furminator, but it was taking too much of his undercoat out and he was not very happy during his grooming periods. When I spoke to his previous owner, who is a pet groomer, she told me she had been using this product on him and it worked great to keep the matted hair down to a minimum. After using this for several weeks, I have to say that it works so much better for my bunny than the Furminator. It takes out much of his looser undercoat without making him seem bare in spots and takes care of any wanna-be matts of hair that try to form underneath his belly, around his legs or in his beard. It helps remove the excess hair from his fur so when he grooms himself, he doesn't end up ingesting so much fur and long hair that can cause so many intestinal problems for house bunnies. It also feels better in my hand and is easier to for me to use than the Furminator was. This shedding comb was just the thing I needed to help keep my bunny groomed and matted hair free. Martha's Pet Place shipped this out to me the day they received my order and I had it within 4 days of the order. They were so fast I was surprised when the package can in because I didn't expect it before Thanksgiving. I give Martha's Pet Place five stars on their prompt and courteous service. They let me know that had gotten my order and when it was shipped with the tracking number to make sure it got to me. I have no complaints whatsoever with this company and will be ordering from them again when I need to upgrade my bunny's habitat and we get another house bunny... This is the best comb I've found for grooming my cats and my dog. It really gets the loose hair combed out. And my cats love it because it doesn't scratch their skin. It does a great job on my dog also -- really grooms her thick undercoat. Very easy to use.

I've used this comb for my cat and she still sheds all over the place.Maybe it's best used for grooming,not so much for shedding.

I like this comb. It gets under the snags and helps lift them out without removing the undercoat. This is exactly what I wanted.
