For some reason, my 2008 Mini Cooper S was missing this item. I couldn't figure out what was supposed to fit into that odd space underneath my console until I fins this product and realized that my Mini simply didn't have one. It fits like a glove, looks great, and is very practical for keeping items tucked somewhat out of sight in this recessed space underneath the center console. If yours is missing like mine was, get one of these from this Amazon seller...well worth the small price to make your console look complete again.

I like this better than the OEM one. It has a taller lip and allows for more stuff to go inside. Also , depending on how you drive will keep things in there. The OEM tray has allowed some stuff to spill out.

I bought mine at the dealership, same OEM# and installed it last night into my 08 Cooper S.

While it is close to the form needed, it should be a bit smaller to fit without creating bulges that look less than OEM.

Overall, adds to where you can put a few things, but I probably would have passed on it knowing how it looks when installed. Just not up to usual BMW/MINI standards.

I agree with the previous review in that it's a little too big. It fits if you really squeeze it in there pretty hard, but this makes the edges curl. Tested on a 2009 Cooper hardtop.

Conveniently fits beneath the center console where the CD stack would go. Took me a minute to figure out the orientation until I matched the cup holders to the scooped edges.

I keep parking change and a pen in it. What can I say - It works!

Tray does keep items from falling out the sides. In the 2010 Clubman S model, the tray area is mostly enclosed already, so the tray is a little too big for the area and needs to be squeezed into the space making it curl on the sides a tad. Not sure if this happens in other year models or not. Other than the slightly awkward fitting, the tray does keep everything in place.

Basically, it's okay. It is the only solution to slightly "beefing up" the area in front of the cig. lighter on your MINI console. The rubber makes for a "stickier" place to put stuff but nothing earth shattering here folks. The "coin slots" or better yet "slits" in this tray are pretty useless unless you have small hands. It holds a few coins but the coins are hard to get at "under there" especially if you have a thumb drive or anything else plugged into the usb. So basically, it's cheap and it helps a little but don't expect it to change your life or your MINI's console much. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? Sure, I guess so. ;)It's a cheap MOD and somewhat helpful...kinda...
