Best practical thorough book on the 700si available-bar none
This book should be in a spiral edition because there is so much to study. Damian goes to great lenght to explain in laymans terms all the features and tips/tricks that you can do with a 700si. Plus he explains all the function cards. This book is now out of print but well worth finding.

Good reference manual
The original Minolta 700si manual just tells you where every function is on the camera. It doesn't really explain how it can be used creatively or even what it's used for. This is where a book like this comes in handy. It explains every function purpose and gives some pointer for efficient and effective use. The original Minolta 700si manual just tells you where every function is on the camera. It doesn't really explain how it can be used creatively or even what it's used for. This is where a book like this comes in handy. It explains every function purpose and gives some pointer for efficient and effective use. If you're a competent photographer then this book will be of little use for you although the accessories, lens & cards sections are quiet comprehensive and provide a good reference for future accessories purchases.
