Banks often take too long to deliver newly printed checks, or they won't permit you to add your company logo or promotional messages to your checks. With VersaCheck, you can print customized checks with your laser or ink jet printer using plain check paper.

I looked at VersaCheck's Home and Small Business Essentials (HASBE) edition and VersaCheck Pro. Both manage unlimited accounts and provide check templates for popular accounting programs, including Quicken and Money. The VersaCheck Pro Server also lets you create custom templates, and the program offers extensive reporting.

Though ProServer automates accounting-program file import, I suggest HASBE to design and output your personal and business checks, then print the completed checks from your accounting program.

This product was created before Windows XP and was designed to be used with Windows 3.1, 95 and 98 - how many years since Windows 3.1 was in use? It will not run of my XP machine. Seller does not tell you how old this software is.

The software in this review is VersaCheck Pro version 2.0, 1997 - 1998.

This check writing program is easy to setup to print your own check from stock check paper. You are able to create your own check and deposit slip for different accounts. There is no limit for how many checks you can print.

It seems to work with Window 98, XP, Vista 32 bit, Windows 7 32 bit. It does not work with Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64 bit.

Since it does not work with Windows 7 64 bit, one can use VersaCheck Pro in Windows XP computer to print blank checks from stock check paper and use QuickBook Pro to print date, payee and amount on the blank checks.

If this program is updated to be working with Windows 7 64 bit, it will be an excellent software.

This stupid antiquated product gets lost in setup "searching for any installed MIPS Products" I pity anyone running Windows 7 who is foolish enough to waste (however small an amount) money on this product!
