For my women in the service, this is for us!

I bought this despite the price because there really is no other option for women. I cannot wear men's vests because of my body type. I am about 5'6" but mostly torso and maybe 140 lbs athletic with a soft layer on top. I am generally fairly petite, maybe a 28" waist because I've put on weight, but I wear a 28F bra size so there is simply no way the one size fits all thing would work for me. For reference, I can tighten up a female level IIIa body armor about as tight as it gets. The only sports bras that are tight enough on my are the under armour ones in small. There is a reason why I have this as tight as it gets. So if you're my size, you can still wear this. On the other hand, you can back out all the straps a few inches in the shoulders and a ridiculous amount in the waist, so you can be a big strong awesome viking woman and still have this fit you like a glove. That is, if 30 lbs is enough for you.

This vest does a pretty good job of putting the weight between your breasts so it's not really pulling down on you, if you know what I mean. Nobody likes that feeling that their training equipment is going to put their breasts in their lap within the month. Sad face :( Make sure that it is nice and snug if you want to run with it. I fave mine adjusted so that when tight the belted area fits snuggly under the front of my ribcage so as not to bounce up on me when I run. I started with 18 lbs and will be slowly working my way up. Be kind to your knees, don't start with way more weight then you're used to. Give your body a chance to adjust.

I saw someone had a hard time figuring out how to put it on, so I will explain it...

The vest comes fully loaded with a belt strap on the side in a box with no instructions.

I am 5'4", 120 lbs, with a 26" waist and 33" bust. This vest at it's most snug capabilities fits great. The side straps are elastic so they can be done up nice and tight and you can still breathe easy when you are winded.
I use this vest for running intervals. Whether going slow or fast it stays put. My collar bones were a little sore when I started using it, but the vest is starting to relax a little and it's getting more comfortable. I have seen a lot of improvement in my running in 3 weeks.
One warning about the vest: The material on the inside rubbing on some shirts wrecks the fabric. Don't wear expensive shirts.
I would definitely recommend the vest to anyone hoping to gain speed or burn calories.

I'm a military female recovering from an old knee injury and this vest has proved extremely beneficial. I use it primarily for running stairs (hustle up, easy walk down) however it's also very useful on a jacob's ladder or a rower in building back and core as much as the lower body. I wouldn't recommend it for running as the additional weight is stressful on the joints, but this vest can be implemented in pretty much any other workout imaginable. The weight is well distributed and it doesn't hurt too much on the lady parts. Overall, a very good buy.

Well make and fit is verygood. am 5'3", 117 lbs, 34D and workout. Have strong upper body however, I found that lifting adjusted vest over my head a challenge even after removing 10 lbs. Trouble is getting it on and off easily. If front had a zipper or clasped opening, it would be a great product. Once you take weights out, it is a challenge to get them back in so wearing vest becomes a project. Take weights out, put on, put weights back in. Would suggest you try it in a store first. I would not have bought for the reasons above. Wasted $130. plus.

I just started using my vest while on the treadmill and love it. I have to say, I haven't reached using all 30lbs but hope to eventually get there :-).....I like the idea I can add weights with time. The vest is very easy to put on and it's a nice quality.

For months I have had my eye on this vest for women and for whatever reason, I did not commit. Now that I have, I am very pleased. It arrived really quickly, it is of the quality they advertized and the fit, once adjusted, is perfect. I wear it around the house everyday. I am actually thinking of buying the belt to take to the office. I am very, very pleased!!!!!
